And if I've read it rightly, ticket prices will now be £26 on the day. How many years ago was it £20? I get that this initiative will be interpreted from alternative standpoint’s because we all have different resources and financial priorities. My view is that it’s something different to what we have, it’s testing the water and for some- not all, it will be a worthwhile venture. We won’t lose fans because of this, but we might gain a few. I understand that and as I've said there are elements which I think the club should be applauded for. But I disagree that we won't lose fans, we will lose some who won't want to pay £26 to watch us. The net result could be we gain more than we lose but, I guess we will just have to wait and see

dont think he heard me 2010With a £5 fancard, you were able to pay £20 a ticket last season. Not 2010. you know as well as I do, that wasnt his question, will that mean they are only £23 next season ? fan cards are a thing of the past anyway, an idea that loses money, they wont be around the season after next I'm sure

I feel like the short price freeze may have been a late addition as a result of the discourse following the Supporters Parliament, in which case well done Town for listening of sorts, it’s not much but it’s better than nothing at all. Still a bit underwhelming, there’s still so long left of this season… We’re launching them 2 days earlier than last year. Just maybe the club need to get funds in early this year for reasons we’ve been debating for months.

As for being pathetic, no I don't see that at all.
I think the pricing for kids/families is fantastic and whilst the concept of freezing prices is appreciated, I don't believe a 3 week window in February is sufficient. And I'm completely against matchday pricing being £26.
Personally I don't see what's pathetic about any of that. Please enlighten me what is.

When all is said and done...each year I attend I see more and more kids. The clubs future looks bright.

The kids pricing is excellent, and pleased to see the return of a young adult season ticket too - always seems ridiculous that once you cross over the threshold of adulthood someone has to find and extra couple of hundred quid despite the fact their finances are probably no better than they were before.
£26 is way too much for third tier football on the face of it, but it's comparable to most other teams in the league. Depressing reality, but that's where we are.

Everyone should boycott the Season Ticket early bird offer to force them extending it but of course it won’t happen …. If we listened to you for just once the club would soon be in admin with points deductions , we clearly need money before the end of February for serious financial reasons , how about you just do what you want to do , after all every comment you make is anti town

If the club made a heartfelt statement about needing funds and gave something back like a few free "bring a friend" vouchers or something similar, I'd imagine some would be more sympathetic and better happy to pile in early.
As much as we all love the club, they need to realise we are just consumers at the end of the day, we're not forced to buy tickets, it's a choice.

Hopefully more and more new ideas come from Liam, he's a young head but he's clearly wise and in touch with the fan base.

My only major gripe, is that the February freeze doesnt apply to those who use the DD system to pay monthly. So we are looking at a £25 hike on this season, just because we use a DD system.
Seems harsh IMO.

Seems harsh IMO. Interested how much you pay with the monthly scheme? Any interest? Or £365 divided by 12…… It was confirmed the monthly options are provided in house as opposed to from a third party just wondering if they charge?

I suspect it's because they need the cash now and direct debit wouldn't achieve that

Seems harsh IMO. Seems there may be a rethink, but if not pay on a 0% credit card, and pay that off with the Direct Debit

Yes the club charge interest (no issues with that really though) it was £41.50 for 1 adult (£365) and child (£15) over 10 months.

Big thanks to Liam Dooley for listening to Direct Debit customers.
I have to say i have had a few interactions with Liam now and he represents the club brilliantly IMO.
