Thought this would be an interesting poll prior to 2 games which results will probably define our season with decisions from off the field.

I've said stick with Taylor, because he's not the problem.
The win today was much needed, next week a win would be much appreciated and would give Taylor a lot of credit in the bank.

strange poll the name of the poll is "Would you keep current management team" but you only get the option of keeping Taylor some of the choices equate to the same thing I want to keep the current management team, but there is only 1 option I can use without sacking someone

I doubt it is ever going to get much better than this with MT as head coach. I like a good old fashioned manager at the helm.

Taylor needs a fair crack of the whip with some reinforcements and returning squad players.

Taylor needs a fair crack of the whip with some reinforcements and returning squad players. he was speaking on radio shops earlier, all the injured loanees are back with the parent clubs, he's hoping to know by mid January at the latest if we can ditch them or not and try and find a replacement if they are not likely to return lets hope they dont mess us around , fair play to Luton with Thorpe in allowing us a full month to have the freedom to replace him, and I think he was the the most likely to return to fitness, very good of them that and im hoping they stay up just on the back of that

I would hate us to become one of those clubs who change their manager every season. The new system will take time to bed in and hopefully we can finish the season relatively strongly with the injury crisis abating, a few good new loanees coming in and the team taking on more of an attacking shape. It would be nice to see MT develop as a manager, take the team forward and see out his contract with us.

I would keep Taylor because I think he deserves the chance to be his own man, which in the current set up - in my opinion, he certainly isnāt. The rest can leave tomorrow, Chairman and all.

I've voted for sack Moore, but i'd like to have voted for sack Bignot as well, because I fear that if MT goes, that Bignot will be the cheapo option selected by MM.

i think they have to have time to shape things. I like Taylor, he seems a good guy, that said this window is huge for the club

I like Taylor, he seems a good guy, that said this window is huge for the club The focus is on Moore, it would be good for him to speak in a non-scripted interview and let fans know a bit more about DOF. Are the under 18s, under 16s playing a new philosophy? Are we padding out the youth teams with any talent?

With Moore, the recruitment should be spot on, he's got another 2 guys working with him (am I right) so we should be right up with things in this month's January window.....then it's up to Taylor to sort things out on the pitch......and hopefully a more attacking style of play

I havenāt voted because itās a pretty bizarre poll, wouldāve been better with four options:
- keep Taylor and Moore - sack Taylor, keep Moore - keep Taylor, sack Moore - sack them both.
Iāve been very critical of Taylor recently and I still need to be convinced that heās learning from past matches and improving, but for now we continue to keep our head just about in relative safety. Hopefully that continues, we can put this season down to transition and experience but we need to see much more going forward.
I doubt it wouldāve been 92% in favour if the poll hadnāt gone up straight after our biggest win of the season mind!

I think we should stick with Taylor. He clearly works under the constraints of the DOF and it's with Moore I have the biggest reservation. The loans situation is far from ideal. Did I read that the parent clubs (apart from the honourable Luton Town) won't give us a decision on how and if we can offload the injured players until later this month? By that time, the best players will already have signed elsewhere. Surely our DOF should have been onto this earlier and making sure we had a good idea of what's happening before the window re-opened.
I also agree with martinshrew that we have no idea about the football philosophy at the Club and how that trickles down to the youth sides - where much our talent should be coming from over the next few seasons. I'd like to hear from Moore for an update on how he sees things shaping up. But for now, I can't see there will be any changes either to the structure or management team for the foreseeable future.

I'm not a fan of the current system but I also don't think it helps to be a revolving door of managers. To be fair we have had injuries virtually from the start and we have had numerous games were we are down to the bare bones and players having to play out of position all of which makes it difficult to evaluate what we could be like that.
. However You would hope the team could pass to each other and do the basics right.[

Happy with the Management team and the players we have on contract except of course OBrien. However being a miserable old git who doesnt like change I have never been a fan of the player loan system. Under Hurst we struck lucky but as a general rule I much prefer the game as it was in my early Gay Meadow days with no loans and players on contract who mostly lived locally. No Academy and a reserve side. We are an average League 1 side and wont get into the Championship by changing the manager. I have always accepted what we are and if anything for a club of our size I think we are if anything over performing by holding our own in League 1. I was happy in the old 4th Division. Never been a fan of 1st Division, Premiership or Championship football. Seen one or two decent games of premiership football on the tv but nothing sticks in the mind more than lower league football in the mud of the Gay Meadow. So to sum up. Keep and accept what we have got. Miserable old git. News at ten. Shrewsbury.

Stick with him! I look at has the manager improved the team from the previous season. This time last season 29 points this season 30 so weāve improved.

You voted to sack Moore, so how would he be around to appoint Bignit? It does make sense in that even if Moore was sacked, RW would still probably give Bignot the job as he'd be a cheap option, much as he did with MJ - and that went well didn't it? MM would probably suggest it to RW before he hit the revolving door, as MM and MB have a serious track record of finding each other jobs.
