For any who may have missed it, ticket availability for those with 4 loyalty points or more has been brought forward to TOMORROW, 10am. Wonder if we're struggling to move tickets. Just had a quick look, loads available at the moment...

Just had a quick look, loads available at the moment... We’ve only got 3000 season ticket holders so there will be at least half the stadium left? I think this will be general sale but ticket sales so far won’t tell us much.

I can understand Wrexham being up for this. They are playing a higher league team. For me I am finding it hard to get excited playing a lower league team. Now NEXT round and maybe a big team away and big excitement yes?

Its some consolation for those unable to get a ticket that the game's on TV

Now NEXT round and maybe a big team away and big excitement yes? Nothing to do with playing Shrewsbury to be fair. I think I’m right in saying Swindon away on Boxing Day (is any other EFL club having to travel much further on BD?) will be the first game we haven’t sold out home or away this season.

A Boxing Day home game is peak football, an away game nothing more than a nuisance and inconvenience. Can’t remember the last time we played at home on Boxing Day.

Promised myself never again.

It's never easy with this club is it?! Website still showing ten points as necessary, despite the club saying they'd bring the requirement forward for only having four 🙄

My lads are in this age category and it’s just another game to them.

That is true doc......loved the games at Wrexham and Shrewsbury back in the early 70s.....you could basically walk around both grounds back then, and go where you wanted, before the Yale stand was built, the side terrace had a low roof, and you could walk right round to to the tech end, which was the same, and stand on the busfield kop,as it was then.same at Shrewsbury, walk from the station end,all the way to the wakeman end.dont remember when the segregation started tho🤔🤔

End of. Not the first time I've said it since the draw and probably wont be the last before the game is played. It's a massive game for them, playing a team from a higher division. But for us it's just another stepping stone to hopefully drawing a big team.

Sales look pretty good to me. Roughly half of the home seats sold after one morning of 4+ loyalty points.

Saying that, a few on here wanted Wrexham before the draw was made.

I'm on 13 points but the person I'm going with only has 9 so we had to wait, but all good, managed to get two together in the safe standing area.

Nomore than six at any one time at ticket office all day today. Is this because we are well organized. Certainly not the frenzy and complaints seen at Wrexham. Appears to be just another 2nd division club that we are playing. Not much excitement around the place. If it's a draw I wonder if we will sell our allocation.

It will sell out.
A Wrexham game is a big draw for Shrewsbury fans and a big draw for local neutrals before you add Disney into the frame.

A game against Wrexham will always bring out some of our casual/part-time fans because of the derby aspect but I don't believe it's ever been tempting for local neutrals. Of course there is the 'Hollywood' angle but is that enough for someone to pay £24 to watch two teams they don't support? It will be a decent crowd but I suspect any Shrewsbury fan who wants a ticket will easily get one.
