£24 is too high for 3rd level football, especially against 4th level opposition. Would it still be £24 if we were home to Stockport, would it hell.

Is it limited at 1 per person? You can buy multiple tickets as long as they fall into the same category "Thursday 14th December to Wednesday 20th December. Season ticket holders can purchase their own seat which will have been reserved for them. Also, supporters with 10 or more loyalty points will be able to purchase a ticket. Y ou can buy a ticket for somebody else as long as they fit into the parameters set by the club for the relevant sales window and you assign the ticket to their supporter number"

Used to be season ticket holders and a plus one. Sad to see that gone. Was a nice perk that.

As for the second point, of course it wouldn’t. But it’s not Stockport. It’s Wrexham. A rival whom we haven’t played for 15 years. Add to that the hysteria that follows them at the moment as well, it isn’t a surprise the club see it as a high category game.

Bet the policing bill will be enough to spend those extra 4 pounds mind!

Know where you are coming from but make hay while the 🌞 shines. At least Parkinson won't say he is playing the kids should it come to a replay 😱

Used to be season ticket holders and a plus one. Sad to see that gone. Was a nice perk that. Pleased it's gone. Why should a season ticket holder be able to buy a ticket for someone who hasn't seen the Club play all year so they get a ticket over someone who goes regularly but doesn't have a season ticket? Take myself, I don't have a season ticket as its a 400 mile round trip for a home game. I did nearly 10,000 miles last season watching the Town but under the season ticket holders could buy 2 tickets my wife and I would struggle to get tickets

My uncle is in the same boat as you for home games and yet has got 9 loyalty points from going to 4 away games and 1 home game. Meant he would for these games be able to sit next to us. As it is he'll probably be able to, but was a nice perk. A lot of the people who got the plus ones where in that situation, just got them a bit earlier.

Just out of interest is there a "plus one" facility for disabled fans plus their carer? My " disabled" railcard entitles my carer to the same discount (a third) as me.

My wife and I have both got 17 points so far this season. Those games include Carlisle away and both FA Cup games so far. Wouldn't know two season ticket holders who would be able to buy tickets for both of us as all people I know have other family members who are Town fans who would take priority over us.

£24 is too high for 3rd level football, especially against 4th level opposition. Would it still be £24 if we were home to Stockport, would it hell. You can get a grounds pass at Wimbledon for £30, along with setting your alarm clock early to get in The Queue. For that you get a full day out at one of the sporting calendar’s high profile events, plus (especially in the first week) a good chance of watching some of the world’s best tennis players at close quarters. Naturally it’s horses for courses, but it shows how poor value for money football is nowadays when you’re not paying much less to see (when the hype & Hollywood is stripped away) a third vs fourth tier match. Especially when you consider tennis is a supposedly elitist middle-class sport and football still likes to peddle the ‘game of the people’ line. Can’t really blame the club for wanting to cash in, but you’re right. If we’d have drawn Plymouth at home it wouldn’t be £24, and there certainly wouldn’t be any of the ‘work commitments’ sob stories we’re already seeing…

Well I'll be hoping for a ticket on the general sale as with work I can't get to many games and then a mate gets a ticket for me
No problem with it if I don't as people who go regularly get them people who moan about it need a think

Coupled with the price, I think it’s one I’ll watch on S4C instead. Is what it is really and as with previous high profile games the club have made it as fair as possible… I certainly wouldn’t begrudge anyone who bought a ticket to the Notts County match having more priority for tickets.

I think its a great and fair system, 10 points will no doubt ensure everyone with 10 points who wants a ticket gets one , I guess 9 points or less could have meant there wasnt enough tickets to satisfy everyone if necessary , so they will get to sweat for a few days and hope they get a chance
when you think back to some of the ideas we've had in the past this route is the clear winner

When we play big Clubs the last 200 or so tickers have gone to general sale to people with zero points. Can't see playing a lower league side selling out

Carer goes free with disabled ticket. Don't think you can buy any other tickets though as there is limited space in the disabled seating area

No complaints from me in terms of how the ticketing works now. One ticket per supporter fills the ground with genuine Town fans.
And £24 is too expensive for third tier football, but I think our prices are actually pretty reasonable compared with some other clubs in the division. And I see no reason to drop prices for this one. That would be a bizarre move.

Extra policing and goodness knows what other expenses. Seems ok to me. And remember it’s not compulsory to attend!

Why should a season ticket holder be able to buy a ticket for someone who hasn't seen the Club play all year so they get a ticket over someone who goes regularly but doesn't have a season ticket? The scenario you have outlined certainly sounds unfair, but what about someone who goes regularly, doesn't have a season ticket but is actually disadvantaged by the approach? Lets take x, y & z go to games together, x & y are season ticket holder's, person z isn't but goes occasionally and they all sit together. Person x & y buy their tickets together, person z has to wait to purchase one and by the time they are able to do it, their 'usual' seat has been taken and they are forced to sit elsewhere, away from the people they normally sit with. The scenario I've outlined doesn't take anything away from the scenario you've outlined, I'm just highlighting there's all sorts of different scenario's and what might seem fairer for you, may be more inconvenient for others

Think they've missed a trick with the loyalty points there.
It goes 10 - First dibs. 4 - Second dibs. 1 - Third dibs. 0 - General sale.
Imagine if they'd have changed the 1 section to 2, you'd have encouraged more ticket sales for the Pompey and Peterborough games - as it stands you could get Wrexham fans depending on how desperate they are just buying a ticket for Peterborough and not showing up.

The only thing with the system I would like to see changed is if we have an away game I think ticket sales should be on number of loyalty points, not season ticket holders first then loyalty points. I have had situations where a season ticket holder who hasn't been to an away game all season can buy a ticket but I can't despite having more points. This happened away at Wimbledon one season. When we could no longer win the League suddenly I could get a ticket as season ticket holder with less points had sent their ticket back.
