Why only 3 Sundays and not every Sunday if it's 'popular'?

Why only 3 Sundays and not every Sunday if it's 'popular'? Hopefully it'll revert to that if there's demand. Do the Sunday match away games, or are they random?

Yep, deffo gorra be decent, otherwise people ain't going to go.what are the prices???👍 People are stuck on this nonsense of paying £10 for a meal when you can barely get a McDs for that now. If the quality is there £27.50 for a three course in nice settings is perfectly reasonable.

"Our popular Sunday lunches will be on sale on November, 5, 19 and 27 at the Croud Meadow."
I wonder how long it'll take them to realise that the 27th is in fact a Monday?

Like the idea - can't believe a business in 2023 doesn't have the facility to book online though.

November 5th might be interesting if we get a home tie in FAC Rd1 and are selected for live tv.

It’s good the club are promoting this but feel the promotion needs a bit more sparkle to it to attract customers. All seems a bit bland - the press release not the food. In a competitive market at bit more selling of the offer wouldn’t go amiss. Compare with the Wolves feature offering similar and see which one appeals the most events.wolves.co.uk/events/sunday-lunch-in-wolverhampton/

It's cheaper, but the main thing is you can book online which has been standard for the last decade across hospitality.

Looks more like tapas in the photo.
Also a sample menu wouldn’t go amiss and a discount for season ticket holders. Even our friends at Sc***horpe could manage that.
I believe there is a rave review on their forum from one of our fans who has indulged themselves in their Sunday Carvery on more than one occasion.

It's a start, although for a restaurant that has been open for 16 years I'm not sure that's a glowing endorsement
As others have said I'd expect a a bit more for a restaurant in this day & age, for example, I'd be wanting a separate web site for the restaurant (or at least a dedicated page on our site) , a sample menu and ideally the capability to book online. They should be promoting the hell out of this too, send emails to the fanbase, promoting in the Star, getting on the various local Shrewsbury/Shropshire FC groups, etc. If it's just simply put a single news article on the website saying 'we are open' then it's not going to grab too much attention. And then why just November? Is it just open for one month as a trial or is the expectation that it's going to be open every Sunday now? Obviously December is normally a busy time for hospitality so why not advertise for then now?
I know it will probably come across to some as being negative and taking a pop at the club again, it's not meant to be that, it's meant to be constructive criticism as we want it to be a success. I've been to the club for Sunday lunch several times of the years and it's always been good but haven't been for years and that's probably because I didn't know if I could. The club have got to remember that the hospitality game is very different to matchday, people won't come along out of sheer loyalty, you have to attract them and people are now lazy, you have to provide all of the information at the click of a finger.
Finally, there is a STFC Hospitality & Events Facebook Page, it has 120 followers, the last post was 16th August and there have been 12 posts in 2023 (4 of which were promoting Mothers Day), the club need to switch on and use social media.

Despite emailing them over 48 hours ago the dates available for the 3x Sunday Lunches in November are still: Sunday 5th Sunday 19th Monday 27th But yes, I completely agree with your points. Also a basic online booking system?

I'd encourage others to email with their concerns, there's no fan representation any more so a direct line to the club is your only choice.
I for one would rather stand up and say what I believe and try and held the club realise their mistakes than just watch the club float on by two decades after moving to the new ground and still be failing.

Hopefully they've taken some of it on board but I highly doubt it.

When we first moved RW appointed his man from The Lord Hill as head of hospitality (an Italian guy) but not sure what happened after that. A quick google shows Max.Senatore@shrewsburytown.co.uk as hospitality manager and Terri Duncan as his assistant.

I see she’s been in place for the last 10 years so should have a grip on it by now, the article does explained difficulties since COVID. www.shrewsburytown.com/news/2022/may/staff-at-salop--terri-duncan/Try Max 👍
