The last manager of the original 'Telford United' and loyal assistant to Neil Warnock has died aged 75.

I will always remember that photo of him looking miserable as hell whilst holding a scarf above his head ;-)

Didn’t Mick Jones and Jimmy Quinn have a verbal bust up before and after we played Telford United at the Duck Shed . Telford United got the better of us results wise that season but we managed to put matters right eventually . Mick had a very good football career working with Warnock mainly . RIP Mick Jones .

Very sad news.
Recall the squad they had was rather good, Mills and Simpson spring to mind.

Didn’t Mick Jones and Jimmy Quinn have a verbal bust up before and after we played Telford United at the Duck Shed . RIP Mick Jones . I think Mick Jones was annoyed as JQ apparently reneged on a gentleman’s agreement not to play Trevor Challis in the league game at the Bucks Head not long after signing him from Telford on deadline day as the s**t hit the fan on the finances there, could understand why he would be annoyed, I think JQ claimed he had to play him because of a injury or suspension crisis or something along those lines. Sad news, RIP Mick.
