I think opinions are split on B&A half think he's guilty, the other half think he will be wrongly found non guilty I'm in the section that wishes football stars (and their WAGs) could behave with good manners and good grace, instead of getting so far "up" themselves. Sir Bobby Charlton/Marcus Rashford MBE style.

'Any retrial will not take place until at least 5 June 2023', the judge said.
That's probably optimistic, as all the Criminal Law barristers are on strike as from Monday.

Neither found guilty, but guilty in the court of public opinion and been struggling ever since.

Kate Greville had "indicated an unwillingness" to give evidence in a retrial as giving evidence in the first one had "taken its toll" on her and her sister. This follows a similar pattern to the collapse of the planned Mason Greenwood and Joey Barton trials, where in both cases the victim was at a very late stage not prepared to give evidence against the accused. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-66230391

Who, the millionire ex footballer, she's old enough and wise enough to decide for herself. Besides, any trouble and he'd get the worst of it.

I think Mr Giggs has blown his chance of a Knighthood….. why what's he done now ? Doesn't mean he's done anything, just a trashed reputation. That's what happens when the accused is named, then the case is thrown out. But how far should/could the accused name not be publisiced unless or until a conviction is obtained?

His potential managerial career has probably been ruined over it, regardless of his guilt or not, he doesn’t seem to come across as a particularly nice bloke.
