As a matter of interest is the Sovereign Suit card payment only on a match day?

Are the club planning to go back to full time hours at any point, or are we sticking with our part time offering of 10-2pm (I'd guess at least half of our crowd, if not more, work during these hours)

While is there no wheelchair ramp access to the path leading to the ground between the 6 a-side pitches and Lidl ? There are two sets of steps resulting in wheelchair users arriving from the railway bridge route having to go further along Oteley Road and the main entrance route to get to Smithy’s and the fan zone.

Is it known how reactive and ambiguous our presence is when it comes to promotion of matches and providing details? To give you an example, we are two days before our game against Wycombe and:
- There is not a single article on the website/social media promoting/mentioning the match - When I click on ticket news on the website, the last article is from 28th July which was in relation to the Morecambe match (we've played 2 matches since then) - When I click on news archive in tickets there is no post saying tickets are available for this match - When I click on the ticket office twitter page, there is not a single post saying tickets are available and details of them. However, I can see they have replied to someone's question that tickets will go off sale at 1pm on Friday but wiil be available on the day

Ten days ago we were told that the club were actively looking at alternative options to run the shuttle bus to the ground, is there an update?

Are Shrewsbury Town aware of the signage around the approaches to the town directing fans to a park and ride at The Shirehall that no longer exists although not sure if temporary as it’s no longer really needed due to Meole Brace park and ride….
Have we asked the council to remove change the signage?

Are the club actually aware that not everyone is enrolled with Twitter? It would be a great advantage if important news could be put on the main website instead of people having to rely on other fans to to let them know what is going on.
Is there any way the ticket office phone could actually be answered during opening times?
Is there any chance that the ticket office could be open to accommodate fans who work and can’t get there during working hours?
Is there any chance that the new on line system could reallocate original supporter numbers to those people who have had their number altered and why did they have to be changed in the first place?

Following on from Ssshrews question re phone :-
If you call the reception there are 6 ‘options’. The only one that takes a message if there’s no answer is Commercial. The rest, certainly ticket office and reception , ring for around 5 minutes then just cut you off with no warning, explanation or message. The current system does allow messages to be left if ‘leave a message’ is turned on as shown with Commercial.
Why do we simply hang up on customers trying to contact the club without being able to leave a message?

Agreed but the permission o use the Meole Park and Ride means why direct people coming down from Bayston Hill to Shire Hall when Meole’s available without the cost of supplying a coach. Just needs upgrade in signage (before the change ideally 🤣)

Why wasn't the renovation of Smithy's bar done over the summer?
Aesthetics wise the new season tickets look dreadful. Has the club acknowledged this?

Could the club please confirm what the ticket and club shop opening hours are? No mention of being open on a Saturday at all at the moment and seems to change every time I look at this article. www.shrewsburytown.com/tickets/opening-hours/

I'd just cope and paste the moaning thread.
Are we just so last minute about things? It's so frustrating we have good ideas yet they come out only at the 11th hour.
The bucket hats are great, but if they were a copy of the Welsh ones gosh they're bland.
Can the club have focused promotions for games. Refer a work mate for a double discount maybe? Get the ground fuller.
Was the lack of an open day due to the manager or the wider club? Even if it was a tour of the changing rooms we'd be keen I'm sure

It would be a great advantage if important news could be put on the main website instead of people having to rely on other fans to to let them know what is going on. To be fair to the club I think that is normally the case. When looking to Twitter and Facebook posts they tend to reference an item on the Town website. Just like the announcements included in this thread regarding the SP meeting. I guess the issue is if someone isn't on social media and whether they look to the Town website (and if so, how often). So the social media posts just tend to point to something on the main website (from my experience anyhow). Not sure if the club still sends out emails. Not sure what other methods they can use to get messages out to fans. Maybe thats something we can have a think about...

I’m not so sure. I see there’s something at the bottom of the home page on Twitter asking fans to look at the advice for attending matches in the heat. I would have thought that was worthy of a slot on the club site.
There have been other occasions where things have only been referenced on Twitter as well. At best they are selective at worst they just don’t care about fans who do not wish to Tweet.

But my own experience is that when looking to news from the club itself, on social media it tends to reference and link to something on the club website. And just looking to the Twitter feed now, seems to be the case for a lot of the recent posts.

Not sure who was responsible for painting the underpass at Sainsburys, but I’m sure the club has some involvement but could the Site be revisited and the “graffiti “ be painted over.

I guess if fans don't feel that they are being kept up to date with club news then we need to consider how fans are getting their news and whether that could be incorporated into the clubs messaging. Perhaps email. Pretty sure there was a mailing list for club news in the past but not sure whether its still going and if so, just how much it is used by the club. Then of course the question is whether email is something a lot of fans who aren't on social media use...

After all this time at the new ground, it's not very good that we have to keep asking questions about the basic running of our club.
It's why I've given up bovvering.

You'll find you quickly form other habits. My Dad quit 12 years ago after not missing a game home or away in nearly a decade, he wouldn't dream of going now.

A couple more from me please:
1) When will the away shirt be announced and available for purchase? 2) Will there be any ticket incentives this season? (for one off games etc)

If that’s the case then fine. If fairness (to you) there’s very little on either.. we’re still waiting on ticket details sales and when they go off sale for Wycombe and Bristol, too late for Wycombe, but we don’t get details I.e. number sold, reminders to buy in fact I’ve just looked back from 01st August we haven’t advertised any detail regarding ticket sales for any game except on 11/08 details for the Burnley game. Fans still don’t know details for Bristol Rovers (next away game with seated tickets available but no explanation about terrace, number allocated et al…..
