I've been really enjoying the events. Great coverage by the BBC.

Totally agree.
Great sporting festival and a mixture of elite sport plus great stories.
Great ad free coverage on the Beeb.

BBC coverage has been nothing short of superb....I can be a fierce critic of aunty beeb at times but for these games cant argue just how good its been.
England running the Aussies close in the medal table, be interesting to see how the Aussies fair now the swimming has finished. The Brits contingent on the track (and England in particular) will hopefully claw back the deficit on the Gold's before we finish on Sunday.

a big blow for geraint thomas in the cycle race was a contender then had a fall very early on and lost about 30 seconds. even so he did an amazing job to get a medal www.cyclingnews.com/races/commonwealth-games-2022/elite-men-time-trial/results/Rohan Dennis (Australia) claimed victory in the men's individual time trial at the Commonwealth Games, as Geraint Thomas lost his gold medal hopes in an early crash. Dennis and Thomas started as the major pre-race favourites and it was Dennis, two-time world champion and silver medallist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, who prevailed. Dennis clocked 48:21 on the lightly undulating 37.4km course in Wolverhampton, UK. England's Fred Wright claimed the silver medal at 26 seconds, while Thomas picked himself up to take bronze for Wales at 28 seconds.

Was at this game today - entertaining stuff. Went to the T20 cricket after. Good day out. Fair play to Birmingham as well - it looked decent in the sunshine today

Back today from Birmingham. Saw England get bronze in the team gymnastics which was amazing. Great atmosphere. Saw the bull which was incredible in real life. Still buzzing from it all really. A magical trip. Birmingham has done the UK proud.
I know I'm biased though as I have to get blood tests every six months at Birmingham hospital but I feel like Birmingham is my second home 🙂
