A bit meh for me, but it does at least get the basics right and is better than most of our recent efforts, particularly last seasons.

Bit of a strange blue collar next to the yellow at the top and then the sleeves ruin it for me. The main bulk of the shirt is nice though.

Just looking at their site and I read that they have so far sold nearly 5,000 season tickets. A new club record as they prepare to re-enter the Football League after 11 years away.

Thats some backing. Some expecting County for promotion. 20% discount too on the shirts. Compensation case for Stockport coming I think

We finally get the blue and amber stripes announced and now someone on Twitter or Facebook is saying that 12 months from now we should celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Fred Davies promotion by wearing a mock up of the blue WSJ shirt we wore that season.

Looks fab But would like to see the return of amber socks Definitely. Didn't we wear Amber socks for one game last season for some unknown reason? Plymouth away was it?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-62256634"Fewer than half of English Football and Premier League clubs have both their new home and away kits available to buy online ahead of the season, as manufacturers face supply chain issues. Only 44 out of 92 clubs currently have both their 2022-23 season kits on sale."

We know the debate has been done to death but in the clubs eyes, our core colours/design are blue & amber stripes, personally I'm a fan of this but I know that not everyone is. What I completely disagree with though is the attitude of 'we are due a change' because we have had blue and amber stripes for a few years, I wonder whether Celtic fans think they are due a change from green & white hoops, Liverpool/Man United fancy a change from plain red, Newcastle from black & white stripes etc. I have seen this from quite a few of out fans so wonder whether we are the only set of fans who want to try different colours/designs? Saying that, I am happy for us to have a different kit for special occasions but certainly not a fan of trying things just for the sake of change.

Having grown up in the 50s, we were always blue shirts, white shorts, just like Birmingham, Chelsea, Everton, Leicester and many others. During the 70s and 80s, blue and yellow or blue and amber became our individual kit, unlike anyone elseās. I remember sitting at Wembley, wearing my Town stripes at an England game. A guy behind immediately recognised this as a Shrewsbury shirt and asked me how were doing at the time. He was a Derby fan so he was not supporting a team at the level we were at during that season. We all have different preferences and mine is blue and amber but I also really liked the blue/yellow shirts with yellow shorts in the early 80s.

Perhaps they did it cheaper because the lack of amber or the fact you couldn't get it till about November

At about 06:40-45hrs this morning on 5 Live they were talking about football kits.
It was reported that only 42 or 44(?) teams out of the 92 League clubs have got supplies of both Home and Away kits and some of them with only enough to supply their various teams.
Stockport fans have been told that they won't be able to buy their new home kit until November.

Although I can't find the cost, I'm guessing it was Ā£35 based on your '29% increase' post which was Ā£5 cheaper than the previous season. I'm struggling to see why we would reduce the price of a kit, particularly when we have made a huge loss because of covid, other than for the reasons mentioned.

Wonder if we have learnt anything with the last couple of seasons problems with supply. Ie isnt it better to just stick with a kit for 2 years rather thank keep changing it every 12 months with all the subsequent problems. Well either that ot start working on next seasons new kit already š

We should definitely stick with the same kit for at least 2 if not 3 seasons, especially if the kit proves to be popular in terms of sales. Rather than change, keep on adding extra quality merchandise over the same period.

It was inevitable that we would have an trendy 'blurred' shirt at some point given our distinctive striping.
