Whilst i enjoyed operation Mincemeat ,the love story within the film was unecessary. i still preffer the original "The man that never was 1956"
Beck a scandinavian detective drame BBC1
McDonalds and Dodds wich seems to get better with every season
A rerun of Inspector Allen mysteries UKTV

Certainly numbers two and three on your list for me.
Looking forward to trying Murder in Provence on Sunday too.
I don’t take to anything too heavy these days.

McDonald and Dodds is very enjoyable and so is Inspector Montalbano. Sadly we have seen the last of the Inspector . Trom is BBC 4’s new Scandinavian series , well worth a watch .

Looked forward to Operation Mincemeat but very disappointed with the typical stiff upper lip britishness that made it look like Downton Abbey (which I don't like either)in military clothes. Another good story ruined by poor execution in my opinion. Yet if you want to see a very good true wartime movie, The 12th Man is excellent along with the equally excellent The Captain, one Danish, one German, both subtitles and both on Prime.

A brilliant series so far on prime is The Boys, based on a comic series it does a type of dark horror/humour take on marvel and superheroes….really good although still perplexed they used a Kiwi for the main character that’s clearly meant to be British. To me he just sounds Kiwi and occasionally east end London.

Me and the wife are watching Westworld but at the end of each episode we just look at each other as if to say "What the hell was that all about?" Yet we still keep watching!!!

Better Call Saul on Netflix is genuinely thrilling TV. Obviously will appeal to anyone who's watched Breaking Bad. For me it's verging on being even better, and that takes some doing.

I lost interest after series 2 to be honest. I just couldn't get into the storylines from series 3. Shame really as I thought series 1 (and 2 to an extent) where excellent.
