Same old Town really. Struggled to create anything clear-cut in the whole game.
Liked the look of Bayliss. Gave it away cheaply a few times at the start of the second half, but looked a danger in the final third and got into some decent positions. I think he’ll definitely be the one who plays furthest forward from midfield. He could be what we’ve been missing.
Also liked the look of Dacosta. Pacey and sharp. Wouldn’t imagine many wingers would fancy taking him on.
Really odd to see Pyke getting minutes at right-back. Time to cut our losses and pay him off.
Not a lot to report other than that. Good to see Barlow getting 45 mins, shame we didn’t see a bit more of Caton.
Good following from Town. Terrace looked pretty much packed from where I was.

Big plus for me,Tyler Moore,a beast an looks a quality holding Midfeider.Also thought Docosta looked sharp when he came on.

It's a pre season match and it was our first pre season match, I'm not sure what people were expecting. It sounded like a fairly competitive game for a pre season game so it gave players minutes, that's all that matters.

I can't get excited about friendlies Juan way or an udder. If I remember correctly, Juan year we were champions we didn't win a single friendly pre season.

Friendly games are mostly about shape and fitness. Also probably looking at making a few final decisions on players such as Pyke & Barlow eg whether to loan out for season.

Best probably not to make much of the game yesterday.
Telford to their credit were well organised and probably had the best of the chances.
The highlight was at the end of the game and seeing their "firm" try and mobilise themselves - a bunch of overgrown teenagers and those weird creepy blokes that hang around with kids 30 years younger than them.
A horrible place.
