Very surprised he got two years at our level.
I doubt he'll make more than 10 starts to be honest.

Mind you if he’s as enthusiastic as last year, he’ll do more in those ten games than some of the other players in the team in the whole season.
Good luck to him always except against us.

Personally, Good luck to him, even if he scores a wonder goal against us, provided we win the match.

Not long to go until we see him down the Meadow in our first home game on August the 6th.

I am not at all surprised that one of the canniest managers around has recognised the value of Shaun as a squad player/impact sub. Shaun must now be odds on to score the first goal of the new season at the Meadow!

hmmm, all that crap I got for daring to suggest Whalley wouldn't be playing for us this season and would be taking 2 years somewhere else oh well what's new

A true legend, unlike Rodman etc who jumped ship after Wembley.

Doubt there are too many former players who might have their name chanted by Town fans but could well happen this time around. Good luck to him.

It’s now just a case of guessing how many goals he’ll score against us this season! I’ll go for 2!

Good move for him and no Town fan can do anything except wish him all the best.
The sort of player you don't want to come up against in an opposition team.
Look forward to the reception he'll get at the first home game.

Dont really know why but always make a point of looking for Accringtons results. Always seemed a friendly club who have really done well to survive at this level on small gates. Also got a really good manager. Excellent club for Shaun to be ending his career at. It will be interesting to see where Accrington play him. For me he is an out and out winger but the Manager is very experienced and obviously knows Shaun well so I am sure he will be a first team choice.

I think he'll act as cover all over the front positions. Accrington are a great club, lovely new bar there as well which I'll be enjoying this season. Have to admire how they work things really.
