Compiled the quickest list imaginable of probable 'Moores'
Simon Moore - GK (Coventry) Liam Moore - CB (Reading) Kris Moore - CB (Leeds) Taylor Moore - CB (Bristol City)
Probably the last one?

Right sided CB? Numbers or can be used somewhere else?

"In the 2015–16 season, Moore made five appearances for the club.[8] However, his first team opportunities were limited after he fell out of favour with manager Kombouaré and was sent to play in the reserves.[9] Despite this, Moore was the subject of a €10 million transfer bid from Lyon in the January transfer window. RC Lens rejected the bid, demanding €15 million instead.[10] Moore was expected to leave the club by the end of the January transfer window, but no club made an offer and he stayed at the club for the rest of the season.[11]"

1.5M signing, but loaned out a lot. We could be the making of him.

I will go out on a limb and say this is the most impressive of all the signings…..this lad has the potential to be quality, too good for league 1

Another cracking signing on paper.
No doubt we're definitely 'going for it' this season.
And looks like we're going to continue with the back three as well.

Another centre back. Surprised with that level of experience given we arguably have 3 first team centre backs already. Similar to Pennington really - very rated young youngster who hasn't quite lived up to potential, and now needs to move on.
Out of contract end of the season as well.
Makes sense. Lots of competition in defence now. And what about George Nurse? Expected him to possibly be LCB, but probably now is 5th choice. Maybe staying at LWB.

He should be with his new team mates by the end of the day.

He should be with his new team mates by the end of the day. Did wonder if signings would have paused this week, but glad new players are joining up with squad.

Looks like same formation really. 4 senior centre backs to battle for 3 spots and DaCosta clear wing back to challenge Bennett. Just not quite so clear who will be LWB and what roles the midfielders will play.

Definitely going with Nurse at LWB unless he pulls off another signing there.
Only hope is that Pennington or Flanagan aren't going unless it's for a huge fee.

Definitely did expect a signing there, but now maybe less likely. Leahy obviously can play/cover there given that was his expected position when he was signed! And Shipley also played lots of football at left midfield too.

Young with a point to prove…played well for Hearts last season and was highly regarded. Has experience at higher level, will be in a back line which IMO, will be one of if not the best in the league…..And sometimes you just have a feeling that a player will do well, which I do about Taylor.

Add to the fact he's out of contract end of the season, playing for a decent contract potentially.

On the face of it another decent signing. Whole different story from last seasons recruitment. Will we ever get the full story of what went on between about early July and the autumn last season?

I know nothing about the lad but random football fans on twitter are saying he's a good signing, we are building a good squad and are questioning how we can get these signings so I'll take it as a good sign.

Burt earning his wages definitely! If he wasn’t doing that, he would not last very long with Cotterill. He has probably identified loads of targets in the past but our budget would not match their demands. That is the one thing that may have changed this time around.

We made some good signings last season, but some people had the temerity to turn us down. This year it's like an avalanche - players seem to be thinking "If he's gone to Shrewsbury, maybe I should too!" The early Shipley signing started the avalanche.

To me nothing has happened in the last 2 seasons.we've just been playing with smaller squads, building up for this coming season, and cotterills last year of his contract.you could see it coming👍👍👍

He has made no secret of the fact that he wants to build a lasting legacy here.

I'd imagine SC will like to stay on.
Probably his last job.

Pretty sure he played in one or both of the Bristol City FA Cup games three years ago. I would imagine he will play RCB but saw in the article he has played DM where we are a bit short. Could also mean Pennington or Flanagan on the way out but I hope not. Also looks like Nurse is seen by SC as a LWB.
