‘Members’ Enter username in the search bar Click the gear icon Click ‘Block member’ On the desktop site - instructions for the mobile site are slightly different. To be blocked by a homophobe would be a true honour, would be good if fuzzstfc could do the same too if they see this. Thanks for that, saves me looking it up. Will do it a bit later on laptop. Watched an interesting chat with Matt Le Tissier on YouTube earlier, he speaks a lot of sense, my takeaway from it was “people try get at me call me big nose.. , you know what, I couldn’t give a **** I take people calling me "Big Nose" very seriously. |

Interesting is certainly one word for Matt Le Tissier.. lost his job at Sky because he was dull as dishwater then tries to remain in the public eye by declaring Covid and Russian aggression as fake news propaganda, just my opinion as people love to say but he's a nutjob.

What a bizarre turn of events.
Most people on here agreed that a amicable resolution had been reached yesterday and both sides (the club and the lobbyists) came away from it with some credit, then they just pull the plug on it like that.
So another day in the news with people who have no affiliation to the club and 3 followers on twitter telling them they've " done the right thing".
Glad the fans that have travelled will at least get some recompense but it really has become a circus.

Surely playing Portsmouth is the most glaringly obvious thing to do?
Can't imagine they'll be many up and raring for a 4hr round trip journey on a sweaty coach departing at 9am.

It's not a crime to miss something but I found out they'd responded to the club on Friday on that same Twitter thread you mention. Somebody asked the question (obviously not you!) and they replied. Not sure what might be confusing the club, it's a pretty straightforward issue, whichever side of the argument you're on. Do you really believe we should just accept other countries' laws? Germany didn't do anything illegal in WW2 according to its own laws at the time. Russia is doing nothing illegal in Ukraine as far as it's concerned. I interpret "when in Rome" along the lines of drink what the locals drink, not turn a blind eye to anything its government is doing. The fact the game's being played in Spain doesn't really change anything. Digging into the past is irrelevant - we're in the here and now. But, for what its worth, while Turkey certainly isn't as socially liberal as the western world it's not a crime to be gay there, unlike Qatar. seems like it's a crime and now you gone into lecture mode i got bored and stopped halfway Jesus, you're tiresome. Hope you manage to get to the end of that sentence, poor lamb. |

The tweet says "has been cancelled" not "we have cancelled".
Sounds like town were happy to play, may well be that Qatar felt they were in an awkward position. If that's the case, who's cancelling who?
Don't think you can accuse Salop of being snowflakes if it's Qatar that won't play. Does make me question how we're going to get through a world cup at this rate though.
