October looks like the best month for away days with reputable poppers outlets within easy striking distance of the away end.

I didn't think we were starting as early as July 30th. Good stuff. Agree about April, that looks a beast of a month. But with Morecambe and Stanley first up, an decent chance to ease our way into the season. Although as I recall, I said the same about Morecambe last season.

April looks insane, gonna be tough if we're still down the bottom by then.
Cambridge away on Boxing Day is outstanding, been years, probably decades, since I managed a match that day and I know I've never been away so delighted with that.

our manager keeps telling us it takes a good 5 weeks to get a player up to speed , so all we need if a full squad to all start training tomorrow ๐

August is a busy and big month - we better be ready this time. No busier than last season. We played 7 games last August - 1 win, 5 defeats and a draw (won on pens), so I agree we need to be ready this time!

Why do we have to play Fleetwood every Christmas holiday!? So we can sing:
I'm walking to Fleetwood for Christmas, This side the Irish Sea, I'm walking to Fleetwood for Christmas, It's the only thing for me.

seeing as we have Derby at home so early in the season would it make sense to switch the game to the power league 5 a side pitches ?

I hope we arenโt struggling towards the end of the season, because April looks like a pretty tough month:
Charlton - away Peterborough - home Barnsley - away Portsmouth - home Plymouth - home Bolton - away Sheffield Wednesday - home

October looks a difficult set of matches, but in April I would say every opponent will be fancied for promotion or play off places.

Wrexham are in a tough league. Barrow are in a tough league. Shrewsbury are in a tough league.
Shrewsbury were in a tough league when PH over but we the other teams to the wire. We can do it if we are prepared enough, last season we were nowhere near, and looking at what we have done so far we are nowhere near either.
Recruitment needs sorting out, quickly.

Both Exeter and Plymouth are Tuesday evening games. Exeter away on a Tuesday night is probably the biggest blow for me, was looking forward to a Saturday day out there, apart from that Iโm not too fussed.
