Shouldn't there be a colon somewhere in there, or even just a semi-colon

Nice to have Stockport back on our fixture list. Just think, if Stockport had bottled it who it might have been instead 😉

It's been so long that even their 'biggest' fan doesnt know how it runs these day. Well it is a trophy for FOOTBALL LEAGUE teams. Its standard isnt great but its higher than Wrexham have been for 15 years

Yes I do remember when non league sides were 'invited' to make up numbers in a trophy for FL sides for a few years. Idea was ditched after a few years I think. At least it kept up our full record in the competition during our 12 month break from the FL. Wrexham on the other hand last played in it a generation ago.... 😊

I’d rather invite non league clubs than this U21 malarkey. It is meant to be a competition that gives lower league clubs and their fans a chance to get to Wembley. Well it was once upon a time.

I don’t think any of the u21 teams have ever reached the Final. I know when we met Lincoln at Wembley, they had knocked the Chelsea kids out in the Semis.

Be a sad day for football the day any U21 team got to the Final. I guess it may well happen one day though.

Surely if Stockport had bottled winning the title, the only team that were close would have been Rexham. Stockport did wobble a bit but thankfully regained it quickly enough.

B team boycott morals still going strong. Horrible competition, total waste of time and money. Will never go

Of course Town have such a successful record at Wembley Beaten, many times, but by league clubs, not some non-league nonentity. Non League, Non-Entities figure quite a lot in Towns History, maybe not at Wembley, but .........Staines Etc, so I don't think there is much more to be said really. Seeing as you mention Staines and things are going to be quiet on here for a week. Appears that they have closed down.Again a dodgy owner who appeared to have tried a land grab and when he realised that he couldn't has ran away leaving the club in limbo after several relegations The website has gone but their independent forum is up and running. The Staines fan base have uniquely en-mass joined up with a club a mile down the road, called Lamas,to form a new club called Staines & Lamas playing at Lamas's level whilst trying to take over Wheatsheaf Park, the Staines ground.

Possibly even worse than Blyth and Histon because at least those two were away games.

B team boycott morals still going strong. Horrible competition, total waste of time and money. Will never go its quite easy to boycott a game that doesn't appeal much, you don't really need a silly excuse for morals, especially if the alternative is to stay at home and watch football on sky TV these games are a great opportunity to give fringe players a run out, there is good prize money for every win and progression, unlike the carabao cup, just 4 sides out of the 92 get paid in that usually between a quid and 5 to watch too
