Prince Charles is off to Rwanda next week. I wonder if they will grant him asylum or send him back? Never had an issue with Charles, they can feed his nonce brother to the lions though.

Someone on TalkRadio/TV came up with a novel suggestion this morning.
He pointed out that the main problem is our failure to turn the boats back. Apparently, if there is any suggestion that the boats are being directed back to the French coast, the asylum seekers are likely to sabotage the boats or jump overboard, thus forcing the RNLI/Border Force/Royal Navy to pick them up and hence creating the situation that they then came under UK jurisdiction.
The suggestion is that all these rescue vessels be replaced by small ships displaying the Rwanda flag, together with a large cruise liner where the asylum seekers could be taken and housed whilst their applications are being processed. Formalities completed, they could then be sent to Rwanda.
The fact that Rwanda is land locked shouldn't be an issue - they are still entitled to own ships. And perhaps we could sell them some of ours!

I like Prince Charles for his speaking out when he feels the need and the way he's sidestepped being muzzled to get his views out about Priti's obscene plan. Like everyone, he's made some mistakes, but he learns - I think being entrusted with more of the Queen's roles is going ok.
But, as for Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, touching down after his flight to Rwanda, well, good luck in your new life Boris!

im glad the european court of human rights stoped the flights, this is a badly thought out stratergy and the goverment need to think about why are so many people fleeing the four african countrys and what could be done in these countrys so they feel they dont need to take the risks they do. it also brings up for me how the EU can get away with funding camps in lybia that violate there human rights; apnews.com/article/united-nations-tripoli-ap-top-news-international-news-immigration-9d9e8d668ae4b73a336a636a86bdf27f " the misery of migrants in Libya has spawned a thriving and highly lucrative web of businesses funded in part by the EU and enabled by the United Nations, an Associated Press investigation has found." www.statewatch.org/news/2021/march/libya-key-to-eu-plan-to-build-a-big-wall-against-migration-says-new-report/"Placed outside the EU budget, and therefore not subject to scrutiny by the European Parliament, a total of €1.337 billion from the Emergency Trust Fund for Africa was spent across the continent over five years to tackle migration through “extraordinary interventions”. it also highlights how stupid the home office is as it was obvious the human rights lawyers would do this and if they wanted it to suceed they should have scraped there membership of the scheme or changed the uk law to get round it www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/6/22/uk-to-introduce-law-to-override-echr-after-blocked-deportationsUK to introduce law to override ECHR after blocked deportations

I don’t think it would ever occur to the Home Office in its Ivory Tower than someone would challenge it.
