MK City Football Club, no issues with that. They should've started 6 leagues lower though. Should never have included " dons" included in the name. Should NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS have just joined in the FL at the level they did. There is a whole generation of fans who because of this hate their club with a passion, and will take many many years to get over that. hard to speak for other teams fans but it that was Shrewsbury who had been relocated I would have demanded they keep part of our name eg Milton Keynes Shrews , I'd want people to ask questions about their name and tell them, I don't even have to support them anymore , did any fans actually follow them ?

Very much doubt any fans followed them given the distance involved and the way them came into being.

Looks like tonight's opponents are in the same boat, kit suppliers are Umbro and they haven't unveiled any new kits yet. Perhaps the two clubs can get together to write an angry email to Umbro.

Just having a look at a Burnley forum and they have a thread opened up about their new kit, they seem more confused than we do about what is happening. Pictures of a shirt have been released but they are unsure if its the real deal or not or whether it maybe the women's kit. I guess they will have a better idea come this evening... New Kit
Not too sure what to think if I were a Burnley fan, bit of a 90's throwback that shirt...

If that's Burnley's new shirt, it looks like they couldn't think of a design, so they put an old shirt up and let kids flick paint off a brush at it.

Fail to see the craze for abstract style kits. Great if you were Jackson Pollock but terrible on a footy shirt. Seriously I consider myself to be fashionable for a 55 year old. I know what to wear and what not to wear. But that is just awful, it goes with nothing. It would still look dire with a pair of jeans and boots . Please don't let ours look like an homage to Jack the Dripper done by a lunatic with a second class degree in computer graphics. Feeling very scared

Bad enough seeing older blokes in tight football shirts, never mind camouflage ones, **** me 🤮 No man over the age of 40 should wear a replica shirt IMO. There are couple of exceptions such as when playing sport or on your summer holiday but other than that I think it's saaaad. Club branded gear such as polo shirts, jacket etc are absolutely fine by the way.

I go for XL and that's a good fit on me. Saying that I do collect obscure footy shirts and they get an occasional wear for fun ( my faves are Cambodia, S Korea away and the 2019 Norway home)

Link doesn’t work, has the story been taken down? Looks like it has, Lewis Cox has deleted his tweet about the story too. Was just a bunch of excuses basically but said that they would update us this week hopefully.

Pribably the club asking for it to be removed, they do like to keep us "well informed" on such matters as we all know 🙂

Ahh but if you believe in conspiracies it said the kit was ordered in the winter yet El Hurricane mentioned changes to the design after the SP meeting in April

Umbro have been having major supply chain issues, more so than any other brands. Their market share is low in comparison to others, and their market is the smaller clubs. Add to that WH&S issues especially in their Indiinesia factories, some which have been closed and workers grafting 17 hour shifts 6 days a week….. Team will have their kit in time but expect clubshop will still be waiting in September…

“Working towards providing an update” Its not difficult just give us one don’t work up to giving us one. Maybe (just a chance) it isn’t our fault but by saying nothing it looks incompetent.

Stashed my purple 19/20 shirt in the attic at the end of last season ready to get the new blue and Amber kit in time for the next, should’ve known better really. I would usually buy every home shirt but I made an exception that season as I really liked the purple one.
Didn’t buy last years monstrosity for reasons well known and the season before that didn’t bother as wasn’t worth it with fans not allowed to attend bar a handful of games.
So I’m absolutely pining for Blue and Amber but baring that I’m mind if it’s not gonna be until last August/September I ain’t gonna bother still. Only thing that would tempt me is if it lasted for 2 seasons which the club should honestly consider as fans would be more inclined to buy it in the knowledge it would last more than initially thought and if we have the same fiasco next summer fans won’t bother buying that one either.

This is turning into an absolute shambles. Surely the club have a sample shirt / kit which has been available for months as part of their lengthy discussions with Umbro? This being the case they could at least let us see it even if we can't yet buy it. Even in the insanely unlikely event that there is not a sample kit, surely there must be CGI images of the kit available, I mean, how would we have negotiated and ordered it with Umbro without either of these?
In which case, why the hell can't we see it at least and maybe even the club could start taking pre-orders, at least get some money into the coffers?
I'm baffled, frankly.

Perhaps knock a pound off for each match played in the mean time before the kit is available as a happy medium could well work.

Plenty of things here well outside the club's control and no way I'll criticise any of that, but there's plenty the club could do, at least to let us see the damn shirt.

can of worms opened Are Proud Salopians buying shirts? Genuinely interested based on the country of origins stance on the gay community.

I've no idea, it doesn't bother me but then again neither did the Qatar friendly, In fact I was rather annoyed it was called off and my post is rather aimed at the do googers who rallied around to get the game off , I was wondering if they have also managed to halt the production of the new kit , it would make sense as to why its not here yet like I said, as long as its got any shade of blue and something resembling orange, all principles will be out of the window ;-)

Rank hypocrisy if so. I'm not particularly thrilled with anything to do with Qatar, but it's all or nothing. You either blow your lid about everything and take a stance or roll over like a puppy and have your belly tickled. Fair play to Proud Salopians if they're aren't buying shirts; along with not tuning into much football over late November/December.
