Closest we have had to the scrambled egg shirt in early 90s.
That was a marmite jersey too

I dislike fades, but then I'm not the target market as I don't buy plastic shirts!

I buy all the new shirts regardless to wear on holiday...you have to show your colours...especially in Hawaii.

Take last season's shirt, change the yellow to amber and IMO that's a perfect shirt

the club know that its pretty obvious last seasons sulkers will turn a blind eye to what a shockingly awful creation that is and reluctantly buy it all it does for me is make last seasons kit look even better

That's rather good. Could be a purchase. Great to wear on holiday. Town shirts do confuse people who only know the premier League . it's good to be a cultural ambassador.

I hope Salop/Umbro do two things:
1) Design a kit that has features which are popular with the people who will want to purchase it, based on historical sales 2) Actually deliver a kit which means said people can purchase it
Probably asking too much I know.

Looks like a bloody mess, but at least it has amber in it.
Get the smart and modern graphic designer who does our social media to design the shirts, they have done an amazing job on the graphics on the articles/videos full credit to him/her.

No problem with the kit but who’s Ben? Is he just guessing? The kits likely to be already designed and under production or even on a boat somewhere if it’s going to be available pre season…..

It's just some random guys idea. Notice that other clubs at our level are releasing their shirts, IE Cheltenham, Cambridge, but Umbro despite having a 12 month leeway haven't got ours out. However they have managed to release the much faster selling new West Ham shirt...bit worrying

After the disaster of last season in terms of kit supply then they need to get it right this time The West Ham and Hearts kits are fairly plain so I wouldn't expect anything too revolutionary based on them.

I don't know why the unveiling of the kit leads to so much discussion.
The only thing that would make me consider buying it is if they returned to the rightful two season lifespan that other clubs have started to reintroduce after fleecing their fans dry year on year.
If the club really wanted to do something about the cost of living and reduce their carbon footprint, this would be the best idea all round for me.
But once again, wonders never cease as to how we're entering into the holiday season and this new kit seems a long way off entering the market for people to actually buy.

Blue and amber stripes. It's that simple...👍
Do hope that isn't the new shirt.

I do hope we can avoid the shambles of last years team photo. Looked awful with 2 different kits.

Just having a quick look at other clubs who have Umbro as a kit supplier and whilst Huddersfield, Hull and Bournemouth know what this seasons kit will look like, it seems you can only pre-order the kit. Which does suggest we're not the only ones having issues and we haven't been put at the back of the queue.

Given the generous lead in time that UMBRO have had, I'm struggling to understand why our 2022/23 kit is still not available.

Didn't the kit used to officially go on sale at the open day?
My next question is do they even still have open days? I remember they used to be a fairly big deal when I was a kid.
It's a big ask at this stage but as long as the kits are on sale before the start of the season then I think that's fine.
When they're going to 'revealed' it is not really here nor there in my opinion.
If a fan is committed to buying a football shirt then what it looks like is immaterial unless it turns to be hideous or a work of art - then it may inspire a small percentage to buy/not buy depending on their perspective.
From a commercial sense of course you'd do very well selling your new shirt before everyone goes on their summer holidays but unless I'm mistaken, this has rarely been a 'thing'.
