Solihull Motors? You've started something now!! Actually if you look on the map, their ground is almost in the Landrover factory car park, so maybe 'Motors' is quite appropriate.

Just think they've got better quality players than the rest.i would buy mcatee over mullin, and fox over jordan Davies, and sousa ain't bad either.wxms only got the long throw---- didn't see anything else that caught my eye.dunno why we let mcatee go--- got a bit of class Don't know about Wrexham but the long throw and set pieces were the keys to Grimsby getting this far. Exciting, given the context, but definitely not pretty. I'm sure Stockport must be a much better team.

I Dont think so, they were much better than notts county overall, and better than wxm at the sheepcourse.better quality players, and better passing team than those 2, and both away games too.so good effort by them

McAtee is looking the sort of player we hoped we would have at Salop….wouldn’t be surprised if he plays FL next season regardless if Moors win today.

1-0 Solihull Moors! At the end of the first half! That Hudlin really is a man mountain.

He’ll be playing in the EFL with or without Grimsby next season, no idea why he was subbed, strange decision. Paul Hurst laughing and joking with Neal Ardely there… you know what that means 😯

2-1 Grimsby, another extra time goal for them. From a long throw.

Well they certainly did it the hard way...
Bounce back at the first attempt and that doesn't happen very often in this league.

Congratulations Paul Hurst and Grimsby. Overall the best team in the play offs won.
The National League play offs have been the best out of all 4 divisions, great to see. Even though I wanted Forest to get promoted I thought the Championship was the least entertaining.

Paul Hurst young man, take a bow. Buzzing for him and Grimsby Town.
Not sure whether I’m more pleased for him or that some of our most embittered will be feeling bilious.

Not sure whether I’m more pleased for him or that some of our most embittered will be feeling bilious. the only thing that would embitter me was if he came back as our manager. Not bothered in the slightest what he does elsewhere, although it was funny when all he could manage was a defeat

Note to all the staff, the players and the supporters at Wrexham, look what you could’ve won. 🏆

Fair play to Grimsby. They've beaten the sides which finished 2nd 3rd and 5th in their League to win the playoffs.

To come through three lots of extra time to get promoted without playing a match at home takes some doing - congratulations to Grimsby Town. They also join that elite group of clubs (including us of course) who have got back into the league at the first time of asking.

Well done hursty, always said you can't keep a good man down. I like the saying Form is temporary but class is permanent. so well done to Hurst and his temporary good form no doubt his class will return next season and Grimsby will struggle from the off ;-) that's if he stays there

Apparently Grimsby lead for a total of 29 minutes across the 3 play-off games, well we know that Hursty loves a late winner

Well done to Grimsby, always welcome back in the FL for me.
As for Hurst, if I were a Grimsby fan I'd be wondering how long before he fooooks off again to a 'bigger' club again. It's not just us he has deserted after all.......
