1-1. Goldson positioning wrong? Yup, he really could and should have stopped that cross.

Rangers fans can go back to standing in silence now, like the first 55 minutes

Connor's having a shocker to be honest, Rangers lucky to still be in this.

Connor's having a shocker to be honest, Rangers lucky to still be in this. As well as being asleep for the goal, very lucky to have not had a penalty given against him. Can only imagine the meltdown on here if the same thing happens in the Champions League final.

That VAR check for the potential Frankfurt penalty I thought should’ve been given too. Agree he's been poor, but for me that was never a penalty. When his foot got planted onto the floor it was nowhere near the ball and takes out the man, the issue is with VAR equally if it had been given and reviewed by VAR it wouldn’t have been overruled that way either. Not sure how obvious it has to be to overturn the on field decision but it has to be absolute stonewall nowadays.

Not been a great fixture to be honest. Came to life a bit in the second half but there's been a lack of quality from both sides (although Frankfurt have looked noticeably the better side to me).
Have to go do life admin now so will miss final 15 but I can't say I'm too devastated. Finals eh? Load of s**te.

Penalties, Rangers bought on Roofe and Ramsey towards the end with them in mind.

The Germans win on penalties again.
Well done Frankfurt 2021/22 Europa League winners and qualification for the 2022/23 Champions League group stage.

i was sat next to tv all night and watched nothing but the pens , sounded a poor game , at least my boys won 👍
let's see how well behaved the scot's are now , i'd have held the game in ukraine , they would have run the russians out of town

1-1. Goldson positioning wrong? I think he'll be having nightmares about that for some time to come. I can only think he got a call but even so, you don't take any chances there. That should have been sent into the stands.

Godson certainly is taking the brunt of the blame from the Rangers fans. I only saw bits of the game but agree his positioning was terrible for the goal.
It seems that he's on his way at the end of the season and it will be interesting to see where he ends up, there's speculation it will be Villa because of Gerrard but I'd be surprised

Not sure about his positioning. He was in the right spot from what I recall it's just that he decided to allow the ball to pass him rather than playing it (which I think he was in a position to do).

A very poor game for a European final between two average sides.
I fancied Frankfurt to win the game comfortably so credit to Rangers who had the chances to win it themselves.
Re: Goldson, I think outside of Glasgow he's revered as being a very capable centre half but Rangers fans will tell you he's cost them on a number of occasions in the past.
Thought that Bassey looked a very good player.

I can see him going to a solid championship side looking at aspirations of the prem or maybe a bottom half prem side. Brighton didn't deem him good enough for the Prem when they sold him to Rangers tbf.

Low quality game but the right team won. Poor old Connor had a mare throughout.
