Sunderland to win the final, Ainsworth to then leave Wycombe for somewhere like Blackburn, and Wycombe to eventually exit League 1 - but for League 2!

Not if it’s a Tuesday night in January! I get your point but Wycombe not exactly a mouthwatering trip on a Tuesday night in January either True, but we did go there on a Tuesday night in 2008 and put 7 past them without reply.

Hmm, who to support tomorrow? Sunderland.......erm nah. Wycombe......erm probably nah as well.
Take that to next weekend. Port Vale......fk no. Mansfield....... erm probably nah as well. Out of those two another season travelling to Gillingham for a wet Tuesday night is just about preferable.

I think it’ll be Sunderland that’ll win and the Cheats won’t so as well again next season whilst we finish above them on the table.

I’m sure every Shrewsbury fan would agree, 7 hours on a coach to sit in an open ‘temporary’ stand getting back at 1.30 am is preferable to an hour up the road back by 11 😂 Never had a problem with PV like any club majority of supporters are just like us with a minority showing the rest up, just like us. With respect Cobblers

Sunderland and Mansfield for me.
And of course Bromley in the F.A. Trophy Final.

I'll hold my nose and hope Wickum win. They won't last 5 minutes in The Chompionship. And a udder ting, it would be an easy six points against The Black Cats next season. We should be beating the likes of Sunderland.

I hope it is Wycombe, who proceed to sack Gareth Ainsworth halfway through the season and he goes on to be our entry for Eurovision next year (nil point)!! Mansfield as not a fan of Vale, too close to home. Notts County for no other reason apart from it not being Wrexham
On a side note (done to death so many times) I don't get the Wycombe cheats thing, they went with what the match officials decided, as would every single team, when did you ever see a player/manager refuse an advantage on the pitch, it just doesn't happen, so in my book, although painful at the time, not an issue.

Don’t mind either way, kind of like Ainsworth and got over the goal that wasn’t a long time ago

1-0 Sunderland.
WTF was the keeper doing, literally right down his throat and somehow didn’t manage to save it.

1-0 Sunderland. WTF was the keeper doing. I do feel a little for him, I think the pace and the bend took him by surprise and he may have been a little unsighted too, the more you watch it the better the strike gets, but yeah the keeper never looks good on them

Great strike, yes. Will the keeper be disappointed, yes. Better team leading and it could end up comfortable.

Akinfenwa coming on in his final appearance. Now that would be some headline if he scores.

Congratulations Sunderland, it had to happen eventually! Thank f.ck it’s those wingeing t**ts from the North East who go up. Saves us having to put up with them going on and on about , we should be beating the likes of ………. If you’ve not guessed I can’t stand them , obnoxious s**thouses .

the only annoyance was I did have a £10 on 5-0 at 200/1
I fancy that result would have happened many times in 200 games

Sunderland clearly the better side all through the game - they restricted Wycombe to very few chances and they always had the classier and more threatening attack with Pritchard and Stewart. Nice to see the League 1 pay-off final producing a veritable goalfest compared to the FA and League Cup finals.
