Sunderland 5 wins and 2 draws in their last 7 games. They seem to have got their act together so I can’t see us getting anything out of the game.

I'd love it if we derailed them.

Perhaps we will do another Rotherham away?
They are the team under pressure so let's just go out and enjoy it!

We should be beating the likes of Sunderland.

The Sunderland til I die Netflix documentary is still comedy gold and shows just how not to run a football club.

I'd love it if we derailed them. Not a lot of favourable clubs from those that could go up really!

Don't think Wednesday have made too many enemies since they've been down at this level have they (although granted no fly on the wall documentary there). As long as it isn't Mc'Dons or Wycombe (yeah, Wycombe. I'm still bitter)...

Unlike Sunderland, Ipswich etc

Agree about Wycombe, though I did love every defeat they enjoyed in their season up in the championship I must admit 😂

Promotion seeking Wigan and Rotherham both in action this evening. Think Wigan and Rotherham are playing every weekend and midweek till the end of the season.

I too have a soft spot for Ipswich since those wonderful Bobby Robson days, only dented a little by the Hurst business, but undented because he didn't do them much good

Another damaging defeat, play offs highly likely now for them.

Rotherham have imploded ! 3-0 down at Pompey Wigan surely cruise to win the title now. Rotherham have to beat MKs results now to get the other automatic place. Frankly dont see it happening. Would prefer to see neither go up tbh.

3 defeats in a row in the league without scoring a goal for Rotherham, looks like Wigan could well win the title before we play them on the last day.

The Sunderland til I die Netflix documentary is still comedy gold and shows just how not to run a football club. "Crying on Netflix, we saw you crying on Netflix ..." 🎶 I have now binge-watched this programme, and thought it gave a useful insight into the difficulties of owning and managing a professional football club; obviously, those difficulties are accentuated in Sunderland's case, but I guess that, in microcosm, those are the same problems faced by most EFL clubs. The two other things which I from it was the undeniable passion felt by the fans, and the pride of being associated with it; unfortunately, this was matched by an odious sense of "entitlement", and the constant refrain of "we are a big club" became tedious.....one lady was even heard to say "why is it always us..." as if she thought that her club should be exempt from football's ups and downs..... The other thing was how certain individuals emerged from it: I thought that Chris Coleman came over well, but that Mr Methven, accurate though his assessments may have been, did not come across as a particularly likeable man.
