Well if they don't that's p**s poor, for the money they've spent.....Stockport and Mansfield...2 proper clubs, who've done it the right way๐๐ i wont mention the amount of investment both clubs have had in the last 5 years then.... Stockport were taken over a year before us, they are therefore theoretically a year ahead on where we are at - the promotion was a welcome bonus hard work starts in the summer - and we will be watching our retained list with interest this coming week. What hard work of increasing the Club debt even further?

25-30k would be much more realistic and achievable without having to purchase much additional land.
Mold Road (the newest stand for those who havent been for a while and have forgotten what it looks like) is the only restrictive design as there is no scope for extension whatsoever. the other two current stands could be extended however, and corners infilled, which our new floodlight positions have facilitated
in terms of our attendances moving forwards? Its really hard to predict. back in the 70s pre seating when we were flying up the leagues we had peak attendances in the 20ks but our average for the season was as our current season.
our highest ever attendance is 35k back in the 1950s when there were no seats.
once the furore dies down over the tv show etc. sadly I cant see us having 20-25k constantly at the stadium

If they genuinely think 55,000, why the hell are they only planning a 5,500 capacity new stand? Itโs just bluster to make headlines and keep themselves in the news.

Some interesting L2 and lower players there. A few months back I read on the Wrexham board that most of the players who had moved up with their families had settled in Chester,as Wrexhams a dump. The only Wrexham based player was James Jones who was Wrexham born and bred.
If that's the case, and they don't want to move house again, then I would imagine that both Tranmere and Crewe,if they stay down, will certainly look at that list with interest. If Tozer didn't move up I can see him returning to Cheltenham

Its time to celebrate. A chance to 'let our hair down'. Relax. Forget everything, have a few drinks etcfor a change. Party like crazy peopleI The party starts in Escape lounge and the flight. Put the miniatures you bought in the airport in the menu/table compartment, put your seatbelt on and you've arrived in no time. 2 consecutive promotions. And a title. You don't know what you're missing over the border

Wrexsham having a clearout, CEO and all. I'm worried. It means they are serious. Making tough decisions to go for yet another promotion. Wrob and Wyan are making all the right calls. I think they are away for a tour in USA soon so will have to get some players in sharpish.

TBF I believe with the CEO that it's her decision as she will take over at Burton as her Dad, who's the largest shareholder, wants to retire Definitely a strong element of being forced out. Every fan whoโs met her (I havenโt) has nothing but bad words to say about her. Iโm sure youโve all watched the first two episodes of season 3 and will have seen a supporter called Simon Cooke featured quite often. A well known fan. Simon put up a photo on some social media of his son on the pitch with a flare after securing promotion vs FGR. Fleur immediately banned the two of them for 3 years. Whether she was right or wrong, but seems typical of her relationship with people in general and went down very badly. Lots of fans protested, so I think the owners read their audience. I also think she was always going to return to her beloved Burton to replace dad. Best of luck to her, she was probably doing many things right to have lasted for 3 years.
