Hopefully their season will be extended for an extra game, just the one - the play off semi that they lose to a dodgy penalty in the 94th minute.

They don't warrant their own thread, but in League 2 Port Fail needed two wins for automatic, but lost two one to Newport County. So, a good day all round!

Kalispera from the balcony! Weather's absolutely glorious. Still on the spf30
There's no let up in the support of Shrowsbury fans in our results etc. Bet you wished you'd entered the Shropshire Cup now eh? We're moved by your support. Welling up in the eyes Christ some of you are quick! As soon as there's an opposing goal, equaliser against us etc you're quick. You're faster than Livescore notifications on I13!
No disaster today. All previously explained. It was always Stockport's to lose etc. It still is. It's not over yet. They're not coming to Wrexham next Sunday as champions. They were 11 points clear. Nothing's decided. A couple of weeks ago they were talking about a players' guard of honour at The Racecourse. Civic receptions at Stockport Town Hall. An open top double decker foookin' bus etc We had half an eye on the 'County' game around the pool. It wasn't convincing. I'm more convinced it'll go down to the wire. The final day.
It's not decided on social media either. Next Sunday is a must win. Wrexham Halifax & Torquay are capable of taking points off S'port. Their last 3 could be a 'mare for them. Other than us, I'd prefer Halifax to win it to be honest. Lovely town.
We've drawn away against a good side. 'County' lost to them.... 3 points would've been nice but that's the way it goes.
Some of our fans' expectations have been artificially unrealistically high this season. We've started from scratch. Played catch up on other clubs etc We were training on a 9 Acre with traffic cones. This is one tough league. We've caught up well. Building. Everything's so good for us...
We're second in the league. 3 points from the top with the leaders coming to us next Sunday. Games to play....
Amazing season so far. I don't even know how many times we're going to Wembley this season?
The progress we've made on and off the field this season is nothing short of unbelievable!. We've made faster strides this season than the bionic man. County or their fans won't fancy our game next Sunday. Their fans will be outnumbered 9/1. The atmosphere's likely to be hostile. They won't fancy Halifax for a decider last day either. There's all to play for.
Kala nite!

I have every hope that Dagenham and Redbridge will take points off Wrexham.

I have every hope that Dagenham and Redbridge will take points off Wrexham. I have every hope that Stockport will take points off Wrexham too. But if not 2 straight wins in their 2 remaining home games will be enough for Port. They won’t need two straight wins. Wrexham 85pts with 2 to play - max 91pts. Stockport 88pts with 3 to play - max 97 pts. A draw Saturday when they lock horns, should be enough. Should Wrexham win, Stockport would need a maximum 4 points from two home games but 3 points may be enough dependant on GD which currently favours Stockport by 4 goals. Watch out for Solihull Moors in the Play offs as they are looking strong at the moment.

Since this thread is our chance to look at all things non league, Telford could be relegated on Saturday, that’d make my summer, Telford go down and Wrexham bottle the playoffs 🙏

Don't really take much notice of Stafford Rangers these days, but I think relegation would pit Telford against them next season - would be tasty derby game.
Last time I went to Stafford Rangers I won a £25 voucher in the putting competition at their open day.

(sure a few supporters of a certain age will understand where I'm coming from). 😉 PS, if they do go down, would they still be eligible for the Shropshire 'Senior' cup or not?

I prefer a dignified, but demeaning, "pat on the head" for our inferior neighbours. Something like a banner with "Good luck in the xyz league" for both Wrexham and Telford.

Dont we all sound elitist on here right now?. Here we are having a laugh at our local rivals as we finish 3/4 the way down the table.
Well actually we ARE elitist as our league is 2 leagues up from one rival and THREE (possibly sooner be FOUR) leagues up from another.
Anyone remember the noisy neighbours who were going to be the No1 club in the county.....😂😂😂

Northern Premier League, Southern League or Isthmain League. Would be one of the first two for Telford

Always thought that we are poison to whoever takes us on as rivals!
Look at the list
Telford, Hereford & Chester all went bust and had to start again at a very low level.
Kidderminster, financial problems and end up in the NLN
Wrexham as above but 14 years, not out in the NL
No wonder Crewe have steered well clear of us and stuck with Port Vale

We are just a financially carefully managed club plying our trade, I reckon Crewe are in that category too.
