I have a few nerves ahead of the weekend. It was never a drama for a long time. It is now. All the many permutations to consider. I think we'll do it the end. I think I'll look back and raise clenched fists in celebration. I'll be keeping up with the latest news right up until the off. I'm really hoping, at the end of the day we're going to feel worthy champions. A big crowd guaranteed. It's bound to be busy at the gate. It could be absolute chaos! Pushing and shouting. Chanting. Missiles. You name it.... You can never rule out a drunken brawl breaking out either. People getting separated from each other as well in the crowd. Belongings lost forever. Has anyone flown from Manchester Airport recently? 'Just do twilight check in then toddle off to your pre-booked room in Radisson Blue for a good night's kip. Next morning stroll down to departures after a leisurely breakfast, scan your ticket for express security lane and the job's a good'un. I'm GOBSMACKED absolutely GOBSMACKED that any well to-do seasoned traveller such as your good self would not know all this very basic stuff. PS I didn't realise Jet2 had started doing direct flights to Rhyl from Manchester. |

I just cant beleuve any serious Wrexham fan is even thinking of travelling abroad any time before June this year, especially one that gets so excited and almost West himself about letting 5 goals in against the "much fancied" (relegated just after Christmas) Dover Athletic.
If I were that passionate about my team getting back to the FL after almost a generation that any holiday plans would have to be shelved.
Still depends on your real priorities.

Just need to win their 3 home games against Boreham Wood, Torquay and AFC Halifax.

I've said before, it's hard down there in the National League. The top three all lost. Wrexham have just had 7 home games on the bounce. They lost McFadzean to injury early on, which was a real blow. Woking are a team of giants. They're the tallest team I've seen since John Beck's Cambridge side and Jamar Loza was a real thorn in Wrexham side.

Well well well! What a distraction we've become for when Shrowsbury lose? If we draw a game it's like someone opens a coffin lid or two in the Shrewsbory and everyone comes out to celebrate? That's the way it is. It's Wrexham AFC. We've been on an unbelievable run. Forest Gump would've raised an eyebrow. It was a disappointing tired performance. It happens. On TV it looked like the Woking fans had just won the European Cup. The biggest day of their season. At the close of play Saturday both 'County' and Wrexham lost.Nothing changes at the top of the table. All other results considered, we're better off. I didn't expect 'County' to lose. I didn't count on Wrexham to lose either. It was a disappointing tired performance. And again the ref has bodged a penalty decision. Davies didn't know anything about it. We're second in the league. Just 7 points difference. I have 'County' to pick up just 2 points from their last 4 games. They're in a wobble. They've also lost 2 key players red carded. Another prediction come true... 'We've got Stockport by te short 'n curlies' There'll be twists and turns before the end of the season. And Wrexham will keep pulling and twisting. Intensifying the pressure on the gap. There's everything to play for. It's just got more exciting that's all.

Everything to play for, but just 5 games to go now. Stockport cal afford to lose 2 of theirs, they only need to win 3 to win automatic promotion. Wrexham can only pray.

So they hold the final at the London Stadium.

they'd be in Nissi now but for Putin...Tough! You don't know what you're missing!

It's great without the Russians though.
Absolute bliss. They don't know how to behave a tourists. People don't walk four
together down a pavement. People say thank you when you hold a door open for them etc Once they've had a few inside them
they're always a concern around the pool after 10 am.
The only think I miss about the Russians is buying a quality catapult from the local supermarket with those round nut
things etc and snipering a few of them.
Balcony lights out and game on.
Catapult and ammo.
Sniper.
Or a balloon with water dropped below on a walkway.
You can always tell they're Russians. The language, the
Dance drunken swagger etc. ....KerrRRRRRPLOSSSSHH!
The weather is absolutely glorious. And it's getting better by the hour. You always notice the heat as soon as the plane
door opens.
Livestream hopefully tonight around the pool.
We're here for the Stockport game as well.
I'd rather watch it in peace on TV around a pool than 12.30 (2.30) on a Sunday . I’ve never enjoyed many of these pressure games in middle life.
Sunday early kick offs are always horrible
Every team plays like it's a Cup Final against us..
There's plenty more to be dropped yet by all teams.
It's going to be interesting
