I accept we’re behind Shrewsbury in a lot of things. Wasn’t so long ago you were playing in a dilapidated ground in front of 3,000. Look at you now. Testament to how a club can move on. We’re now ready to move on. For me, the difference between us and you is we’re aiming far higher. in fairness there is only way you can aim when you are at rock bottom ;-)

Martin, it’s ok, in fact humble, to say you have posted an opinion based on ignorance. Accept you know very little about Wrexham except that you hate them. On the other hand, I know a fair amount about Wrexham. My cousin was once a Director there until he had a disagreement with Pryce Griffiths. And over the years I've done quite a bit of research on Pryce Griffiths, Hamilton, Guterman, Moss, Roberts, Wingrove, Bickerton, Poole, Harris and a number of others connected to the Club, some of whom were regrettably also on our payroll. In fact, Bickerton was sufficiently concerned about my research I put up on here about his time at Macclesfield FC that he took the time to e-mail me personally and invite me for a coffee at the Meadow, an offer which I never took up. He left shortly afterwards, and was last heard of as a personal trainer.

You lot are the very last people who should be lecturing anyone on humility. 2nd place in the 5th tier (non league, no less) and you've already decided you're on for a champions league trophy. Just focus on getting out of the same league as Dover first, eh lads?

Hold on. Hold on! The support from League One's Shrewsburrys fans to ours in the National league has been overwhelming. Emotional. I've welled up many a time. We're in an absolutely fantastic league position. Second with everything to play for. And we're going to Wembley at least once this season as well. Unlike you, we know what it's like to walk up the steps, shake hands with the royals etc and be presented with domestic cup silverware. We will sell out our allocation at Wembley and ask for more. 35K more realistic. It's another near 10000 tomorrow. Everything's going so well. On and off the pitch. Long term stuff. I think we'll beat Altrincham 3-1 tomorrow. Wouldn't be surprised if 'COUNTY' draw. It's a wobble! They will drop points before the end of the season. Otherwise I'll bare my arse in Stans Superstore* There's bound to be jealousy from traditional rivals. How quickly we've progressed. On and off the pitch.

Martin, it’s ok, in fact humble, to say you have posted an opinion based on ignorance. Accept you know very little about Wrexham except that you hate them. Ignorance means lack of basic information or knowledge. Fact 1) You have been a Non League side for 13 seasons Fact 2) You haven't owned your own ground at times during that 13 seasons Fact 3) Part of your ground has been closed for safety reasons during that 13 seasons and is currently closed. Fact 4) You have had various dodgy owners during those 13 seasons Fact 5) You are currently owed by two people who have no connection with the area other than buying the Club. Fact 6) numerous other Clubs have been bought by owners with no connection with big promises of getting promotion/winning League which have ended in tears. Fact 7) there is no guarantee Wob and Wyan will stay around long term. Fact 8) Currently Wob and Wyan are promising the earth but nobody least of all you can guarantee what will happen when they can no longer buy the next promotion. Fact 9) Wob and Wyan have lots of grand plans, however at the moment that is all they are. It will take time before they become reality, if they do all happen. If as a fan you don't have reservations about what might happen you are burying your head in the sand. Having been starved of League Football for so long I can understand your excitement but don't come crying on hear if it goes tits up. I can also understand you being jealous of your neighbours who for the last 13 seasons have had everything you wish for but haven't had. Certainly no ignorance on my part.

I suppose two of the fans of that inferior club will be on later, delirious as usual.

Yeh, Stockport are going to drop points. You dont win the title in March. Yes but they are running out of games to do it.

Never delirious. Always realistic with a degree of optimism in there that every supporter of any team at any level should allow themselves. Otherwise, what is the point? That injury time winner for Stockport is a killer, as I had their game today as a draw. Still think it can go to the last game, and confident we’ll win every game from now (including the playoffs). We’re the best team in the NL right now, but I accept Stockport have been better over the season. I really hope we both go u - two great clubs who will enhance the FL. 10,000+ at the Racecourse today. I haven’t looked yet, but not many in L1 or K2 will beat that.
We’re looking at the playoffs, and I will bet my bottom dollar not one team will want us. We are really, really good at the moment and the stats back to his up.

Assuming that Wrexham win their last 6 games, then Stockport can afford to drop 4 more points as well as losing to Wrexham at the Racecourse. Their 3 remaining home games all look winnable, so 2 draws at Yeovil and Chesterfield would suffice.
Stockport's goal difference is way better than Wrexham's, so is effectively worth a point.

Where is Noto? Outside on the terrace getting Pd up ready to come on here and brag about a 4-0 win against a team with nothing to play for, and one that doesnt take them any closer to run away leaders Stockport. That and our result today.
I'm sure we will get some incoherent ramblings on here soon.

I've just got in. I think I've been spiked again. My legs won't move properly, I've got slurred speech and blurred vision! We're absolutely blown away by the football, our support, our owners, and our future. It really feels like winning a substantial ammount of money on a Euromillions tripple rollover. Everything. Everything is absolutely fantastic! Said before, I don't think we look like losing another league fixture. The odd draw here and there. We're playing some sublime football. On Friday we should've buried Solihull by half time. It should've been 5-1. Today we've destroyed Altrincham first half without getting out of third gear. 10,022 including 383 who made the 42.4 mile trip to Hollywood. It's unlucky 'County' grabbed a late winner. But you'll never change. what's been and gone. The more I look at both teams remaining fixtures, the more convinced how tight it could end up. There's no way it's over. And look at all the Shrews fans concerned 'bout howe're doing? UInbelievable! There's an awfully lot of you bothered about us suddenly. Just try not to worry. You'll see us someday

Then Howie moves off his line for the penalties against Aldershot in the final and isn't spotted by the referee and linesmen. Anything can happen in the playoffs.

I have a few nerves ahead of the weekend. It was never a drama for a long time. It is now. All the many permutations to consider. I think we'll do it the end. I think I'll look back and raise clenched fists in celebration. I'll be keeping up with the latest news right up until the off. I'm really hoping, at the end of the day we're going to feel worthy champions. A big crowd guaranteed. It's bound to be busy at the gate. It could be absolute chaos! Pushing and shouting. Chanting. Missiles. You name it.... You can never rule out a drunken brawl breaking out either. People getting separated from each other as well in the crowd. Belongings lost forever. Has anyone flown from Manchester Airport recently?

People getting separated from each other as well in the crowd. Belongings lost forever. Has anyone flown from Manchester Airport recently? Yes, twice in the last month. Dont beleive everything you read, most of it is media bulls**t but you have to forgive them as they need to find something to scare the pants off the public as the Covid bollox surely cant have much longer to run. The staff couldnt be more helpful to get you through quickly. 1st time with baggage to check in was pretty straightforward and quite quick and security only being held up a bit by the muppets that dont travel enough to realise you have to put liquids in a bag and remove your belt and boots. I've queued longer pre Covid. 2nd time without anything to check in we walked from drop and go carpark and through security and into departure lounge in about 25 mins. The Sunday before Easter just as the schools had broken up. EDIT - I should say that this was at 4am each time but as any early travellers know it's never quiet even at that time. As for your other 90% of the rubbish you've posted I've got no comment at all and hopefully no one will be remotely interested to comment on it either.
