I would guess it comes down to the police. Coventry couldn’t provide more tickets because the concourse for home fans goes around three sides of the ground, so segregation would be a nightmare. I don’t know how Sheff U tickets are selling, but they do sell out every home game this season.
Last night Alty saw their biggest crowd since something like 1996, so perhaps they didn’t need to increase the away allocation.
It’s great to see Wrexham take 5,000 on Tuesday, but that usually means a greater number of numpties who act like they’re tasting freedom for the first time in years.

Is there some rule that prevents Clubs selling more than the minimum quota to away fans? I appreciate that allocating another stand to away supporters might cause police and stewarding problems, plus the home fans in that stand would have to be moved elsewhere for one game. But surely a Club with a ground the size of Sheffield's could manage that. After all, we were allocated 3 sides of Northwich's ground on New Year's day in our season in the Conference. Different rules in the Fa cup to league…. FA cup 15% up to 9k…. Caveat safety police etc…. Bramall Lane 32,000 x15% = 4800 ish min… Don’t think there’s a rule to say that’s the max but why would they sell more? Bit like us giving Liverpool block 1 if we drew them….. only rules in the league are segregation and safety. the 15% can be overruled by 'safety' which usually gets their way town have been quite fortunate in all the time I've followed them as we usually tend to get more tickets than initially given after we begged for more stafford being one I remember, and then we moaned after

I've never seen a dustbin thrown at a football match before.... I had half an eye on the game, Alty were very unlucky, they were the only side in it first half and very unlucky when he lobbed the keeper only for it to hit the bar, they rightly levelled late on, sure was a vital winner albeit after a lot of late pressure

I feel like a kept man. I've been pacing the conservatory, the reception areas, the hall....everywhere
Pre match tension (PMT). I've had to go out on the front terrace with a disarrono and take time out. Take in the night air and just to try and make things clearer. Breathing excercises
What a trip we've got later today? I ask you?
Sheffield Utd away in the FA Cup. 4800 away fans on a Tuesday night and many in hospitality in deep and darkest Yorkshire.Millions watching at home and around the World. Organising an executive 16 seater minibus is no bed of roses either
Its nice to see all the boxes ticked off before you go. Never a problem for the Sunlife Tour. Over 50's. It's nice to run your finger down the list and say bravo!
Everyone paid up
Match tickets/hospitality. Drinks with reserves in the hold. Freezer boxes, party ice, plastic pint, wine and shot glasses. Service station stops
Football Factory and Green Street dvd's for the TV
Its a free hit for the club
We're expected to lose. Any rival fans celebrating might consider what we've made out of our cup run I'd never consider Yorkshire for holiday. I've seen quaint towns and countryside before.
Its bad enough abroad around the pool when they forcibly meet you Do you notice how many times they mention Yorkshire to you? Its always foookin' better in Yorkshire.
I would just love it if we manage to beat them. Absolutely love it
Bon voyage!

Games vs the likes of Sheffield United and Coventry are nothing to get excited about for us on this forum. There are fairly routine games that just come and go.
We last played Sheffield in 2016, Coventry 2019 and have a chance of playing them again next season. I suppose for non league teams they are once in a generation fixtures. Never realised it was almost 20 years ago you last played Sheffield, guess they might still have had the cricket pitch as part of the ground it's so long ago.
Sure the real Wrexham fans will enjoy their cup final replay, while you stay home babbling about it on here.

Same old stuff from Noto. At least we didn't get "You don't know what you are missing" this time. Sadly, we do, we spent a season in non league ourselves a few years ago.

You're not far wrong there, same category as Liverpudlians and Vegans for me; they can't get on with it they have to continually tell you about it.

Very tricky game on Saturday for Notts County - away at Chesterfield, and without their influential midfielder Rodrigues who was sent off in their last game.

Getting through this game without serious injuries will be success for Wrexham. They lost a very influential player in the first couple of minutes of the home tie who is now out for the season and another one who will also miss games. They could do without these problems which must affect them for the rest of their non league season. Defeat tonight not such a bad result.

If I were Wrexham I’d be more than happy to go out tonight, assuming the league is their real priority.
They have six games in 18 days before the end of the month, a punishing schedule at the best of times, but made worse by heavy pitches at this time of the year. Injuries are already mounting up it seems, even before this run of games.

'More than happy' was a bit strong. They will be pushing the positives of a defeat though, I have little doubt, if that is tonight's outcome. As for promotion, the positions after the end of February will be interesting. Congested fixtures rarely produce the desired points total, but the unstoppable Wrexham juggernaut may prove me wrong. ☹️

Yes come on you Blades, tbh sick to the back teeth of hearing about the “red dragons”. You’d still be dog crap without the celebs, I live in the north west and tonight the ITV local news even mentioned you, it’s the band wagon that media suck ups are joining to wish you well.
10 nil Blades win and you lose the play off final to someone like Southend will do just fine

Mullin’s easily championship quality, he’s going to look back in years to come and regret spending his peak years in the conference.
