BoooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM! have you got the other 34 goals he has scored in 10 years? A forward who averages under 5 goals a season. Truly stunning. How much have you overpaid for him?

3 goals in 34 games, plenty of loan spells in career yet all the Wrexham fans are frothing at the mouth… easily pleased at Wrexham.

A career that's on a long term downward spiral.Loaned out left, right and centre.
Finally hit rock bottom and has had to accept a drop into the Conference

According to soccerbase, he amassed 4 goals in 40 games last season. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get 6 next season if he plays every game.

Another on the way down, not up. Probably taken a minimum of £5,000 a week.
Laughable, it'll go pop at some point.

I've just come in. Drink in hand from the front terrace. We're absolutely delighted. Living the dolce vita in the red half of Shropshire! I expected nothing less. Our absolutely fantastic owners want to see us move up the leagues Elliots 3-year deal is another signing of intent. We're slowly filling up the required squad signings. We've also got ongoing substantiaL tabled offers for other key players. All sorts going on. The price has gone up because of who we are. Everyone wants a cut. Agents, players everyone. You don't get success in one season. Ask Man City. Newcastle. What do you blue and yellow fans in Shropshire expect? A fooook---'in miracle? I tell you, folks It's harder than it looks. It's a long way to the top if you want to rock 'n roll. As our co owner said 'We're only getting started' We're going to rise the leagues though. In time. Our support is from a distant galaxy. Every home seat will be sold out this season. And probably away. If ever there was a club who needed another 5000 seats....it's us. We've got tabled money bids on the table for targets. It's like winning the Euromillions rollover for our fans. After years of gettin robbed. Getting ripped off. Getting sold... Look at us now.

I too have just come in from the terrace, drink in hand.
We’re delighted. Not only living it up in the Football League, but in League 1. Absolutely delighted!
As I step out onto the terrace, to my right I can see the bright lights of Hillsborough and Pride Park, to my left I can see Portman Road and Fratton Park.
Signing Taylor Moore on a year long loan is yet another signal of intent coming out of Shropshire. He joins 5 other signings… heard we even blew Pompey out the water for one of them… fooookin’ Pompey of the ex Premiership!!!!!
I look at the success of Sutton, Harrogate, Barrow, Accrington, Burton, Morecambe. All crowds of 2/3000 max and yet THEY STILL sit proudly above our tinpot neighbours from across the border.
Us on the other hand… what is it now? Our 8th… yes that’s right… EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE season at League 1 level. I’ve lost count of when the sheep herders were last in the Football League.
November 5th 2022. I can’t wait. Absolutely can’t wait. FA Cup FIRST ROUND PROPER.
“Ball number 80. Wrexham. Will play. Ball number 39. Shrewsbury”
Your 3 sided derelict stadium and spice renowned cesspit of a town will be invaded from the thousands of mass Salopians.
We’ll be coming to dance on your Weatherspoons tables as we watch you cry with your sister in one hand and your Wrexham Lager in the other. Not forgetting the foooooookin’ half and half Canada/USA scarf around your neck.
That’s assuming you beat some dog and duck team like Harrogate fooooookin’ Railway in the 4th qualifying round.
Until then…
It’s Hwyl fawr from the terrace from me!

Best to believe us as he hasn't played for Luton since at least December 2020. He's been out on loan at Oxford and then Charlton since then. Must be so embarrassing for his Dad,Rob, who was a decent player

Elliot Lee - released by Luton, signed on a free transfer by Wrexham. Says it all really.

Elliot Lee - released by Luton, signed on a free transfer by Wrexham. Says it all really. Certainly does. Can’t wait for the season to start. 7,000 season tickets sold (could have been many more)and building of a 5,500 stand soon to begin. Banter and bluster aside, it’s exciting times. The amount of money and scale of interest being generated for a club in the dog and duck league is incredible really. I can’t say I venture into spice town too much these days, but on the odd occasion I have had to there are kids everywhere in their Wrexham shirts. So great to see. People will speculate on R&R’s intentions, but for now and speaking as I find, we are extremely lucky.

Sure you dont need to go to Specsavers?

So, Wrexham have 7000 souls pledging money to them, but they sign up players on free transfers? Where's the wow signings?
Without them Wrexham could be heading for another "nearly" season - though nearly season's certainly bring in the crowds, probably more so than struggling in the league.

Every post is so full of bravado and bulls**t and every season they manage to blow it, which obviously leads to a great deal of hilarity from the B&A community.
Maybe if they played down their chances and lowered their expectations demands the team might be able to exceed them for a change, instead of bowing to the pressures being put on them from the fans.

Whar do you suggest their expectations should be? A draw against Endsleigh? Reaching the first round of the FA Cup?

That's the spirit, big floodlights, own the ground, build a new stand, still a s**t team Bit of humility is in short supply apparently. Here’s one for you - each season I attend a Shrewsbury game with my colleagues/friends and they do likewise. Done it for years. Few drinks, meal and, more often than not, watch a game devoid of drama and entertainment. This coming season means this won’t be possible, at least in terms of them joining me. They can and will sort out a ticket for me with ease, but the only game they’ll be able to attend at the Racecourse will be an FA Trophy or FA Cup game. Similar capacities, so is that impressive on our part or disappointing on yours?

Nice sidestep Staffs, though I’m not too sure how similar our gates were last season. Sums up what we expect of a Wrexham poster - we've got bigger crowds/flodlights/more famus owners than yow 'av".
But you are still non league. Don't get me wrong, if you like that sort of thing it can be a more entertaining roller coaster ride than League 1 where the teams are more equal, with defences that work and stakes that are higher.

Just think this will be the FIFTEENTH season since Wrexham played in that. Never mind they have the FA Trophy (NON League cup) in which to fail at again this season.
