why would I be jealous of a Club that hasn't finished above us for 19 years? Future potential, sell out crowds, back to back promotions, sponsors queuing up, increased word wide profile, 2240 away on a Tuesday at Doncaster…… I could go on but we’re looking forward to our exciting summer so no jealousy here 🙊🙉🙈 Debt up to £9m, owners taking out over £1m from club in 12 months. I am so jealous of that

🍾🍹🍺👯♀️ It hasn’t sunk in yet I haven't stopped dancing We're doing cart wheels and handstands against the walls. We're all absolutely delirious! I had to steady myself on the drinks cabinet on the way to the fridge. 😮🤫Am I dreaming? Is this for real? I had to sit down and take it all in. Phone people up to reassure myself that I'm not dreaming. Pinch myself. Back to back promotions There's going to be some almighty foooookooin' hangovers over the next 7 days. The likes you've never see in a month of Sundays! We're celebrating like crazy people! When I left the city there was signs some hadn't paced themselves from 9 am in Spoons etc. I only used 1 smoke grenade about 10 pm when the New York Times press video car wheeved itself through the crowds. Saving them for Stockport People were struggling and worse for wear. Spread eagled on pavements. Carried into taxis. Draped over fences and the railway bridge. People clinging on to lamposts etc You have to pace yourselves for promotion cellebrations. And allow yourselves least 4,5.6,7 etc extra hours drunking time than a normal match day. It all hasn't sunk in yet. You don’t know what you're missing We did all this celebration stuff when we got out of league 2 7 years ago and counting. We've done it a few times while you all were all stuck in the Non league. Actually i celebrated when we got out of the National league after ONE YEAR, never thought it would take other ex league clubs FIFTEEN YEARS to do the same. 🙄

Debt up to £9m, owners taking out over £1m from club in 12 months. I am so jealous of that Think you’ve mentioned that before once or twice 😉 Have I? 😉 Got fed up last 24 months with all the "look at all the money we make", "our owners are best in the world giving us all this money". I kept saying wait for 2023 accounts as they will tell us what the owners are really like. As I suspected in it for their egos and to make money, which is what the accounts show.

Love or hate them.completing back to back promotions in my opinion deserves some recognition and praise. Wales onine article about Wrexham wages. The clubs weekly wage bill is £107,000 Which is neaely twice league two average of £58,000 The current wage bill puts them up in the top section of league one clubs with only five league one clubs having higher wage bills.
According to Capology the Shrewsbury town weekly wage bill is £67,231. Which is not much higher than the average league two week wage bill.

The thing about (possibly) playing Wrexham, which a large cohort of Town fans are overlooking (if social media is anything to go by), is that the excitement is based on an assumption we would school them home and away and thus 'stick it to Hollywood'.
Unless I am mistaken, League One Town played League Two Wrexham at home as recently as January this year and it did NOT go well.
An even more austere Town facing a further cash-injected, revamped Wrexham is not something to be marking in the calendar as the source of all joy to come in 2024/25.

Did wrexsham 'school' Shrewsbury..... absolutely not...they had the grand total of 1 shot on goal, which ended up in the net, aided by one of our players......other than that,we missed 3/4 very good chances, and only ourselves to blame🤷🤷🤷

Wrexham's turnover’s 3 times ours and 2/3 times league 2 averages and well above average for league 1. What you spend on players wages is directly linked to turnover. If we could fill the stadium and smash merchandise we’d have much more to spend on wages. We don’t but hopefully change is on the way.

We had chances but as expected didnt take them. They couldnt break down our defence so created very little. The only difference in the game was a deflected shot that went in. They will need to improve on that showing to come gooding L1.

I also think that if Town had taken the lead at any point, there is no way they would have lost on the day. Speaking of misses – everyone is missing the point I am making above. I am saying that wanting to play Wrexham is based on the assumption that we would beat them, and beat them easily. But realistically, doing so is unlikely next season.

not that you lot follow league 2 religiously, but Stockport have had an extra 12 months on us with a decent investment put in to the club and as a result they have built a very strong squad and there is no issue here finishing below them. Mansfield also deserve the plaudits for making their goal difference uncatchable early doors
Nonetheless, we are above the magic line, at this point we really dont care!
well done against Bolton though... do you travel well to London?

Great memories of our trips to Charlton in our Play-off Season (2018) won there in the League and the first leg of the Play-offs. We put in an Everton performance there last season but that was a one off.

Looks a very short list of Clubs that haven't condemned FA Cup replay decision. Not shocked Noto's lot haven't said a word.

I’m not long dropped off from the Motor Club 🥃
It’s a strange feeling being promoted with 2 games to go. The games would normally be irrelevant But its Crewe away and Stockport at home. Traditional and later day forced on you rivalries. I’ll never forget the day My Little Pony tail Savage taunted our fans as he headed towards the tunnel for an early bath. Our fans were scaling the fences to get to him. Cries of If “I see you in Liquid tonight”…. Don’t talk to me about Stockport never been a foooookin’ County
We owe both of these bloody baaaaaasstuurds one
