One more win should see Everton safe, if Leeds lose to Brighton then Everton ko their next home fixture v Brentford knowing a point will guarantee safety. Remaining fixtures Everton- Brentford h, C Palace h, Arsenal a Burnley- Spurs a, A Villa a, Newcastle h Leeds - Brighton h, Brentford a anyone remember when Everton had to win their final game to stay up and were 2-0 down early on but did win 3-2, v Wimbledon I think

If there's a god Everton will go. They just don't deserve to stay up, spent £500m in 3 years.

Think Everton lost a big advantage today, a win would have been safe, a draw a good result. They need to win on Thursday, as they wont want to go to Arsenal needing anything, though Arsenal blow hot and cold. Being a man down so early was a big blow for them being able to push forward.
Mind you Leeds dont seem to be able to pick up much either. I'd say its between them and Burnley, with Everton slightly the better placed of the 3.

Yep. The key game is Everton v Crystal Palace. Lose or even draw that one and both Leeds and Burnley will be suitably encouraged.

Everton by far the better placed I would say it’s marginal based on the fact Everton currently have it in their hands, however with 3 central defenders out before yesterday’s game and having to play a 19 year old in CD who got a straight red, Everton are in serious trouble and CPalace are very quick attacking. Can only see Everton getting a draw at best. That said will Burnley and Leeds find a win from somewhere. Yesterday until the sending off it looked like Everton were in full control unti the sending off, but you do wonder if the Premier League influence results to make for an exciting end. Brentford very lucky not to have a player sent off with a second yellow for Everton 2nd penalty. Then at the top you look at 2 favours in 2 games affecting the results in Spurs favour……and a very questionable sending off

Still hopeful they drop, those couple of lucky results against Chelsea & Leicester may have swung it.
They were lucky as well when you look at their general trend.

Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace. Aston Villa 0-0 Burnley.
Leeds in the relegation zone now with a point separating all 3 teams as it stands, would set it up nicely for final day drama but long way to get get.

Aston Villa 1-1 Burnley FT
Burnley and Leeds level on points. Leeds will have to better Burnley’s result as they latter have a far superior goal difference.

Arguably Lampard’s best achievement keeping Everton up Not even close. He had an illustrious playing career full of huge achievements. At Everton, he took over a team in 15th, 6 points above relegation, got them in a mess, then got them out of it
