1-0 Liverpool. Everton were the better team 2nd half until that. That should’ve been a foul on Gordon in the penalty area would’ve been given anywhere else on the pitch yet VAR didn’t check it. Typical Liverpool getting the decisions. [br Is this Pilchs alternative user name ?.lol

Leeds need something from tomorrow's game at Crystal Palace. After that, their next 3 games are against Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea.

I was going to challenge your opinion but having checked the league table you are quite right, Leeds are not safe by a long way and palace is a tough place to go at the moment too

And they've got a worse goal difference than either Burnley or Everton.

Ran Liverpool much closer than they had any right to this afternoon - deserved a point, really.
Anthony Gordon was outstanding (that non-pen 🙄) and even Dele Alli played well when he came on.
But the damage has been done over a long, long time. Relegation looking 50-50 at best.

VAR is getting more corrupt by the game, I saw a few clips of a fracas and TAA clearly used his hand in an opponents face and nothing even looked at, maybe its time for VAR 2. a system that checks for clear and obvious VAR corruption as for the penalty, did they even review it ? they just carried on and pretended it didn't happen

It's looking like one of the best scraps to avoid relegation for many years to be honest. Everton have proved today that they still have some fight in them but still do Burnley. Nervous times at Leeds who could well be dragged back into it after their 3 tough games playing 3 of the current top 4. I'm more interested about the bottom of the league than the top this season to be honest.

I went along to Burnley v Wolves today and wasn't sat far from the dugouts, felt very surreal seeing Jackson barking out orders considering the dross we witnessed under him. Anyway, Burnley looked a very ordinary side and you can see why they are struggling, however it's clear that there is plenty of fight in the team & fans so I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up stopping up

The fact they stand a change of surviving is either a testament to their fighting spirit or what a horrible mess Everton are in (or both)

Everton to ask why Matip challenge on Gordon was not given as penalty in Merseyside derby www.bbc.com/sport/football/61213710.ampI think Lampard’s hit the nail on the head. Lampard suggested post match that a penalty would have been given if the challenge had been made on a Liverpool player. "It was a penalty, you don't get them at Anfield," he said. "If that was Mohamed Salah at the Kop end, I think [the referee] gives that. It was a foul on Anthony."

'Super' Mike Jackson – the one Town let get away!? It has been a miraculous turnaround. Yesterday was the first time they'd been behind and still came back to win. And still have a fairly useless villa to play twice. Leeds now very much looking over their shoulder. And with a wretched goal difference too. still hoping Frankie takes Everton down though! Huge pressure on them this afternoon. Lose and stay 5 points adrift - big gap to close at this point of the season.

Everton 1-0 Chelsea. Massive mistake by Azpilacueta. Chelsea look toothless. Other than Mount they haven't created much at all. Interesting summer ahead for them with all their off pitch issues. And basically need a new defence next season with I think Rudiger, Christensen and Azpilicueta will all be off.

Yes, great saves from Pickford to see the win through. This relegation battle is shaping up to be one of the best in Premier League history. Puts Leeds slap bang in the middle of it, 2 points ahead of Everton but played a game more with 3 of the top 4 as their next 3 fixtures.
