I can see a 50p selection pack incentive on the horizon.

"Please also note that all supporters aged 13 and over will need to have a photo ID (passport/ driving license) available to verify their covid status on arrival at the turnstiles." Can 13 year olds drive tractors in Suffolk?

No problem with the showing proof but a couple of strange statements
Valid ID requirements for Juniors
Please also note that all supporters aged 13 and over will need to have a photo ID (passport/driving license) available to verify their covid status on arrival at the turnstiles.
Not sure what photo ID a 13 to 16 year old will have? and I take it the Valid ID isn’t only for juniors as stated….
Mask Wearing
Face coverings are mandatory in indoor areas such as the concourses and toilets etc. Whilst not mandatory within the stadium bowl, spectators are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings in all outdoor spectator settings, including seats. We ask all those attending to show respect to ITFC staff and fellow supporters regarding this matter.
No mention of exemptions, thought you couldn’t make them compulsory

Does anyone know how the Ipswich fans feel about this? They’re certainly outliers.

Any thoughts I had of going has now evaporated
Rip off prices to be treated like a leper
No thanks Ipswich

Like I said on a different thread last week, Ipswich fans are saying that none of this is even being enforced.
There’s ways around it anyway, you can just register that you’re negative without even taking an LFT.
I’ll be boycotting this one anyway as I don’t agree with Covid passports. **** Ipswich!

Talking to mate who said they had these protocols all season, assuming all clubs were doing the same.
Just be careful of teen tractor drivers!

Will be more than happy to show a text message confirming a negative test and/or double vaccination. Doing the testing anyway for peace of mind, and have been double vaccinated. In fact, it would probably take more time to type out what an infringement it is on my civil liberties than to actually sort out either of the above.
As for the pricing though....

I’ve got a feeling it’s an international weekend and they had their match postponed last time due to call ups so, as Martin says, it might be worth checking before buying because any replay is bound to be a Tuesday night.

The irony that this game won't take place on the given date is obviously lost on this joke of a club. £27 for a division 3 match and making you try and do something that you don't HAVE to do anyway now. F*****g clueless. Would be happy if the club said 'stick ya tickets '. Will never give these jokers a penny of my money again

Rather OTT whereas Sheffield Wednesday and Bolton have stipulated nothing and both with similar sized attendances as Ipswich.

I'd like to clarify my boycott is based on price, not vaccine requirements.

and making you try and do something that you don't HAVE to do anyway now. If you want to go on a plane you have to? Maybe Ipswich are a trial club for a Government trail?

Sorry. I stand corrected. A plane is a good example. Supermarkets Petrol stations Pubs restaurants etc you don't. The irony that "Premier league grounds " are mostley saying you do proves its all PR clap trap. Like there's a difference between Town and Accrington fans and Brentford or Arsenal. It's pathetic.

Neither Ipswich now Town are flying high this season. Indeed neither have taken off just yet, could say they werent even going down the runway 😏

Does anyone know how the Ipswich fans feel about this? They’re certainly outliers. My wife and son have season tickets at Portman Road. This is not and had not been enforced to the best of their experience so far this season.

What a difference between Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday. Our last visit to Portman Road so many of their fans seemed up themselves as supporters of a Massive Club.
Sheffield Wednesday fans all really nice and down to earth. They accepted they support a third Division football Club.

Went a couple of seasons ago, and enjoyed going to a new ground (despite the 3-0 defeat), but certainly won’t bother again with all that polaver.

If they were to enforce masks in seats and concourse (sounds like they don’t) that’s absolutely enough of a reason to boycott for me. Along with the long drive and £27, to have to be muzzled rather then support the team is not for me

Wonder what they will charge if the drop to L2 next season. Long time to go but this "big club" needs to improve a bit to be sure they dont go down.

Of course what they enforce or not for their home fans may be very different for away fans.
