Getting a bit strange now. It was reported at the weekend that City wouldn't go for Kane if they get Grealish, and that deal seems more likely to happen than not.
Apart from City, who else will go for Kane? Next summer is likely to see a lot of big name activity around Haaland and Mbappe - can't see PSG, Real Madrid, or Man Utd moving for a striker before then. Barcelona and Liverpool are priced out of this at the moment.
Who does that leave for Kane? City, if Grealish doesn't move, failing that Chelsea (but Levy won't want to sell to them) or possibly Bayern Munich if Chelsea move for Lewandowski instead. Wouldn't be too surprised to see Kane still at Spurs this season.
It's ironic that the biggest names can find themselves stuck if the small number of clubs who could sign them either won't or can't for whatever reason.

Not showing up for training doesn't reflect well.

Not showing up for training doesn't reflect well. True, but if it's also true there was a gentlemen's agreement between Levy and Kane that he'd be allowed to leave this summer then I don't think that will put off any potential buyers. I'm just not sure there are any potential buyers for the price that'll be demanded!

Don't know the ins and outs of it but its a rum deal and then some if Spurs are looking to block a move for him. He has given them years of service and with him being 29 you would feel its now or never if he is to move to a club like Manchester and a genuine chance of winning silverware. Pretty sure most clubs don't tend to begrudge a player from doing so. Crazy money, mind but it is what it is these days.

I would let him go to citeh if they paid £150 mil as that is bonkers money Then again he has 3 years left on his contract so ball is not in his court really if spurs don't want to sell him Pretty unsavoury situation

If City buy Grealish where does he play? They have De Bruyne, B Silva, Mahrez, Foden and Sterling.
A focal point for their attack is what’s missing and that’s where Kane fits in.

Bonkers if they pay £150 million for him.£50 mill tops, sign grealish instead, although I hope he stops at villa, will be a clash of personalities between him and gladioli if he goes

Some papers are reporting that Silva will be sold if Grealish signs and Pep is a great team rotator anyway - De Bruyne does seem to be a target for defenders and often gets injured. Considering how high up the field City play Grealish would be the ideal player to unlock packed defences and should improve with Pep's coaching.

BBC are reporting he will be back in training later this week but just wanted to make a point that he is serious about leaving. I think he is being a bit naive if he thinks a gentlemen's agreement will stand up against a written contract - as the old joke goes a verbal agreement is not worth the paper its written on.

When I see the obscene money being thrown about with the likes of Kane and Grealish, it just reminds me why I don't watch the plastic football in the Premiership.
