On the subject of kits, is it now accepted club policy that we will get a new set of home & away kits each season? I thought that there was a pledge some time ago that we would look to alternate (ie a new home kit one season, a new away kit the following season). I know the change of kit supplier will inevitably bring a change of both kits but even with the same supplier, we have been changing kits regularly.

Perhaps not so much for the meeting as will be too late then but I thought it would be a good place to raise this, with the return to football now less than 2 weeks away, could the club do some sort of messaging/Q&A for how things will be. I'm expecting things to be back to normal with the exception of the socially distanced section, however I know that there are some people who are uncertain how things will work and it wouldn't surprise me if some stay away for the timebeing (that can work different ways, I know more cautious people who are nervous about returning but also people who have the impression restrictions from last season will be in place and it doesn't appeal to them).
It would also be interesting to see if the club are going to continue/put measures in place, e.g sanitising stations, offering card payments in the concourses, encouraging people to use facilities outside the ground at half time etc. But generally it would be a good opportunity to remind people of things, e,g Smithy's Bar will be open and there's an outdoor fanzone, there are now catering facilities outside the ground etc. I'd encourage them to splash this over social media but also it it in the Star & Chronicle and on Radio Shropshire. People have got out of the habit of going to football, they can't just assume they will all come back, at the weekend I saw a few people who have been STH's for years (and are for next season) but they didn't realise the season starts in two weeks, I'd imagine that will also be the case for plenty of non STHs

Good point, we’ve changed home kits every season since the start of 17/18 season.

Had we stuck with Admiral for the last year of that deal we would not have had a new kit this summer (home!) - Absolutely no issues then!

Update on the signed photos and draws that brian announced when ST went on sale and have not yet had any kind of update on....
Mike - IMO the OAP thing certainly needs to be revisited... I do personally think the club need to address more than the reasons that Brian has gone. There is a lot of ill feeling, reflected on this thread but among lots of older fans...

I do have to say it puts me off buying one altogether if I know it only lasts 1 season.

It’s clear that the then recently extended Admiral deal was cancelled at the wish / instructions of the manager but who paid the inevitable compensation , the club or Umbro ? If the club why on earth are we paying out compensation at the same time as pleading poverty ?? Couldn’t the deal have waited a season ??

It would be interesting to see how true that is. But the reason why I thought about it was the Accy chairman was talking on twitter about it yesterday saying they don't change their kit every season (they might be an exception to the rule) and then gave a detailed view of how much they make per shirt, how many they give away etc. I'm sure I read on twitter that there already plans for next season's kit so we know this one is another one season only which will probably be reduced to £15 in January (which I may consider buying but inevitably discover that the only sizes available on the website are Small or XXXXL)

Let's not get away from the fact the offer of a drink/food item is one of the worst in the league anyway, that's before you exclude parts of the fan base based on various discriminating factors.

We will be around on match days so just collar us if needed, or ask the stewarding team.

From my perspective I'm comfortable but I know there are lot of misconceptions about what will/wont be in place and not everybody will get the news from Facebook/the official site so really keen for this message to get across.

yeah absolutely, we have spoken to a few fans who aren't comfortable so understand how much of an issue this will be.

That may be a bit deceiving, it’s worth mentioning some teams dealt with last seasons ticket and next individually and gave out refunds for last season as club cash or compensated in other ways.

1. 2. Particularly during winter, there is a noticeable amount of litter in the vegetation on the approach to the stadium, both on the club's land and along the public footpath. Could something be organised to clear this periodically? To expand on this, been a while since I've been at the ground so may well have changed but over the last few years the build up of random, tatty prefab buildings on the other side of the fence from Super Blues Way has looked awful in the past, can we please avoid this in future?

Was the opportunity taken to instal proper fixed lighting along along Superblues Way adjacent to the new Community Pitch ?

1. What happened to the 'Turn it up to 11' and 'Standing Tall Amongst Giants' banners at the back of the South Stand? Will they ever be put back up? 2. Particularly during winter, there is a noticeable amount of litter in the vegetation on the approach to the stadium, both on the club's land and along the public footpath. Could something be organised to clear this periodically? The management of Super Blues Way has always been s**t. I remember years ago when Jaytee and Pilch (I believe) took it upon themselves to spend an afternoon trimming back the overgrowth when it got almost comically long. A great gesture and fair play to them, why on earth was that being left to volunteers though.

Its as simple as turn up at the stadium about 10 mins before it starts, get a pint and sit down in the seats in the sovereign club upstairs.

Not this time... its not online this time around I dont believe...
There is something on the agenda this time to see if that can be sorted more permanently with the clubs media kit/software

"Brian did explain that season ticket sales for the upcoming 2021/22 season were (at the time of the meeting) over 3100 which is fantastic support as the Football Club try to prepare with as many quality players as possible within the Clubs budget and he hopes that supporters will once more see that they receive value for money from their season ticket going forward once more."
Oh, boy.
