Whatever the truth, it will come out in the end after investigation.
It always seems so sad that anyone with thoughts of doing such a thing cannot seek help before the inevitable happens and their life, the victim's life and those of their partners and children are ruined.

Are we allowed to mention his name or is there an injunction preventing it?

Are we allowed to mention his name or is there an injunction preventing it? English newspapers have said he can’t be named for legal reasons. Everton announced 31 year had been arrested. Some ill advised people claimed it was Fabian Delph and that forced newspaper articles putting them right by saying he was an innocent man as he became quite distressed over it all. I’ve not looked but there can’t be that many other 31 year olds at Everton though to me it is clear who the alleged perpetrator is.

One of the links on the OP named him. I think his name is best not mentioned, we saw what happened with a certain Batchelor Boy pop star.

Still got to be proved guilty I know but pretty shocking and some damning evidence apparently. Lets just say the player in question did once play and score for Salop.

I’m not on Twitter so can’t confirm this but someone who is says that Everton fans say the predilections of the player have been known for some time.
If true it begs the question why action wasn’t taken earlier.

But if he has committed an offence its a crime, you can't commit a crime, then get help. If he did the crime he does the time You can commit less offences, possibly of a less serious nature, get punished for what you have done and helped to resist going any further. I was actually thinking, based on the idea that there where rumours on twitter he might have "predilictions" that it could possibly have been addressed before he committed a crime.

Nobody knows the details or severity of this. Someone once sent a ‘funny’ picture on a whatsapp group which the teacher’s and police on the group wasn’t at all funny. All it takes is a few photos and someone with a vendetta to report it and that’s it.

But if he has committed an offence its a crime, you can't commit a crime, then get help. Why not? Almost all prisoners are released eventually, so isn't it better if they're rehabilitated and less likely to offend again? If you're just going to say it's too late to help anyone who commits an offence then you're going to see permanently overcrowded prisons and high rates of repeat offending following release. I know that seems to be government policy, what with all the new criminal offences they're introducing, but it makes the country less safe and costs a lot more.

Help can also include supervision, like not putting someone in a position where they are alone with vulnerable people.

This has all gone quiet. I just looked at the Everton result tonight and reminded me of this.

I think this is excellent detective work. I am contacting you with a view to you taking a position within the Swan Constabulary. Let me know how your calendar is looking for the rest of the month, it would be good to discuss things further over scones and Lapsang Souchong at Swan HQ.
