Nuno Espirito Santo has announced that he will be leaving Wolves after Sunday’s game. Where to next - Tottenham maybe? Hope he takes that horrible Portugal away kit and drops it in the nearest bin. Lots of tears on Molineux Mix.

They are surely going to appoint Sam. Ricketts, of course, not Allardyce.

Ouch. That’s going to hurt them. A lot. Potentially a mass exodus of players.

Would it not be good to play Stoke City, Birmingham, WBA, Coventry, Derby and maybe Wolves in the Championship?

Blimey. Only signed a bumper contract recently. How does it work now of he turns up at Spurs compensation wise? Part of the reason Wolves would have given him a big deal I'm sure was to prevent big clubs poaching him without paying a big whack.
Don't blame him for wanting to move on from Wolves though. There is an element of taking the club as far as he can. They've massively stalled this season and loss of big players - Jota, Doherty and injuries to Jonny and Jimenez has made a massive impact, and has forced him to change the approach he has stuck to for so long.

Always surprised at the mass recognition he gets, they've spent over a quarter of a billion pounds to be where they are in the league, and quite frankly play really dour football.
Perhaps it will be a case of the grass isn't always greener, but it did seem like things had gone stale there.
Here's hoping it all comes crashing down anyway, they're insufferable at the best of times

Yes but we keep being told that Wrexham are ready to move back up to at least our level - but weve hearing it for 14 years now, still ain't happened yet.

I work on the assumption that his name is Boris, so therefore, I don’t believe anything he says.

Two managers at work are Wolves season ticket holders. I did enjoy yesterday afternoon
To be honest I think he has done as much as he can at Wolves, he's taken them from Championship under-achievers into Premiership stability in 4 years. No mean feat and what every Wolves fan could want.
As soon as I saw the news I guessed that he would be off to White Hart Lane. That's if he want's to stay in England, there are plenty of big clubs in Europe that would be in the race for his signature.

I was a regular at Wolves for 10 seasons from the mid 1950s, not because I was a fan but because, pre televised football, attending in person was the only way to see top teams and players. Of course Peter Broadbent was worth the admission money on his own.
Anyway, I was wondering what current Wolves fans think of the disconnect between their great team of 65 years ago which was English with the occasional Scot and the team now which is mainly Hispanic with the occasional Brit.
It would be hard for me to identify with my home town team mostly consisting of foreigners.

Yes, started watching wolves 1969,good times, great players, especially 'the doog', Richard's, and saggy etc, could identify with all those household names, but cannot now with all the foreign players they've got----- but it's brought the club a lot of success in the last few years, which I suppose is what the supporters want

Remember as a kid going over to Wolverhampton with me Mother to see Grandparents and went a few times with my Grandad to watch the Wolves of old and even then you could see that Oeter Broadbent was a special player, God knows what his valuation would be in todays game, and of course the day he signed for Salop was a absolute miracle, what a player, but following the Wolves of today as a second team is somewhat difficult with all the foreign names, chopping and changing, not like years ago the household names like Broadbent, Murray, Deeley,Flowers, Wright.

It’s the one thing I remember from our cup there that when the team names went up on the board they very kindly put the nationality up as well.

I don’t really see why people think he’s all that. Promoted from the Championship when he was backed with players like Neves, started well in the PL but they’ve been absolutely average for a couple of seasons now. Don’t get me wrong for Wolves that’s acceptable, but I don’t see what he’s done to merit getting linked with clubs like Spurs. Same with Parker being linked to Spurs, seems like a good bloke and will probably become a good manager but what’s he done to justify a link with a big club, take Fulham down by over 10 points and scoring less than 30 goals in a 38 game season?
