For anyone in any doubt as to why the slightly arbitrary looking number of last 12 games was selected, we won two and drew two of the four games preceding that.
23rd when Ricketts left vs 9th (I believe?) in the table post-Ricketts is of slightly more relevance, but hey ho.

And had he stayed and results didn't play out as they did, would you be still be steadfastly bemoaning how unlucky he is and that we'll turn the corner next season when we're in league two? I tell it how it is, you tell how you want it to be ricketts last 12 games only managed 8 points, absolute shocking was the general opinion The last 12 games have been awful and I dont think anyone has suggested otherwise. However if you want to know why SC is not having the same level of anger aimed at him as SR then compare the previous 12 game records. Or further still, compare the previous 9 (SC's first 9) and compare that to the previous 9 under SR The last 12 games under SC may have been a blip (we will find out next season) but what is clear is the last 12 games under SR was just a continuation of what had gone on before, well actually it was getting even worse.

Why are we still talking about Sam Ricketts. It was a torturous, horrible era for the football club with very little positives. Came across as a poor bloke too.

( he was dropped after helping Ipswich to inflict the one and only November defeat for the town, after town looked on course for a great 1-0 away win. ( the signs are there that we were about to turn the corner ;-) I see Man City just won the league play most of their games without a striker top scorer gundogen with 13

Why so negative? This is shambolic.

Just the sort of singing we need to be targetting. Someone proven at the level and without a fee- if it requires additional wages just do it.

Saw this on twitter from ex-agent who is a fairly trusted and all makes sense as a target given links and positional need etc. But he will be on lots of scouting lists I'm sure

A good spot from Hoover...but the guy is 30.
If we keep Davis...Whalley...and Edwards.i cannot see room for another oldie.

Whalley is fit for his age, and SC signed Wilbraham at 34. Also not sure if Edwards will still be here, certainly not as a key player.

I expected to be linked with Bennett again. He has been a good player and is a leader on the park. Still based in Telford despite playing for Blackburn for five years or so.
