Been there , done that !! ✅ Did you get yours done at St. Peter’s Church? For my first jab I’m having to travel to Worcester next Saturday as nothing available in Hereford at the moment... got my second one booked for Elgar House though thankfully.

A lone lady anti vaccine protester has been greeting those visiting the Bowls centre during the past week until moved on by the Police. Dont think she had much success but doesnt give up.

Jealous of you all but happy for you all. Hopefully won't be too long until I get my first. From memory it was you asking about the possibility of a reserve list at Sundorne. My dad got his second jab there last week, he asked about this and they said they don't do it sadly.

it is easy to some times take this wonderfull vaccine roll out for granted,in comparison my aunty is 94 and lives near Darwin and has not had her first jab yet,as wales have started to vaccinate the 18 to 30 age group

There will be a choice of two vaccines shortly at The Bowls Centre when the younger age groups are invited.

Had my 2nd one lunchtime at a local community centre .... walked straight in and out and done in 5 mins .... there were more staff giving the jabs (6-7) than there were people getting jabs!!

My daughter had to cancel her second dose due to going into the office and there was a positive case there - back on for next Monday after a week of boring isolation when she could still work and do conference calls from home. Perhaps firms should not be too quick to get people back in the office unless they really need to be there?

Speaking as someone who works for a company who has embraced this new way of working I can also see there are some who don't like it. There are managers I have worked with who only trust something is getting done if they can see it. I spent 6 months working in London. When I returned to the office one manager suggested I had been skiving off down there. On the other hand our regional leader has said there is no need to go back to the office unless you need to.

I worked from home 20 years ago, a diverse team with my manager in Sheffield and people in London, Lincoln, etc. Our company had sold the office buildings and leased them back, so getting out of the buildings was a good idea and they were in communications, so keen to promote home working where it could be done. I had some damn good team building days, sailing on Solent water, mountain biking in Wales, etc.
