I think Pyramids in Scotland is a great idea, makes much more sense than a bridge to Northern Ireland.
It's far too hot in Egypt, Scotland's colder climate would be ideal for walking around them. In really cold winters they could offer an efficient way to keep everyone warm and able to be in school and work.

Over here in Germany and RB Leipzig, Red Bull just bought some lower league club close to Leipzig in order to get their license and then moved the "club" to Leipzig and away they went. I'm sure people would be up in arms in England and Scotland if anyone were to do the same but you suspect after a while it would settle down. Not sure if it will come to that mind as I suppose whatever club they lifted would still be a separate entity. But you just get the feeling that with all the recent talk about the changes to the European competitions, clubs might well be looking and open to other methods of getting some sort of "B" team in the domestic leagues.

I think if the League One and Two clubs in Scotland manage this carefully then it could be of benefit to them and Scottish football.
However after I have removed the rose tinted specs You can see that the old firm are using the pandemic as an opportunity to exploit the lower league clubs into doing what they want at a time when they need funds.
You could actually do an informal tie up with a lower league club and loan a few players to those clubs. Not a defacto under 23 team but a partnership agreement. Pick a club that has no real chance of getting to the top level perhaps?

It depends on how much the lower leagues are valued. If the answer's "not that much" then fine, take the money and let the Colts teams in. If they're valued a bit more than that, this should be resisted as a battle for the continuing integrity of the competition.

Surprised no one has thoughts about the big boys in England pushing for the same in the FL. That was my thoughts when I first posted the article.
Man Utd, City, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea all club together and offer a bit of 'lose change' to the EFL clubs to agree about their U 21 teams playing a L1 and L2 levels.
Football usually sells its soul for a few quid when its dangled.
