Think he needs to accept we're safe, leave it to Wilbraham and concentrate on his health. He needs to rest.

Oh no! Now we know he will be on Zoom all this season. There are now only two important outcomes, assuming Town's finances are holding up. Most important: Steves's health, Second most important: League 1 survival.
Get well soon.
If anyone is thinking of not taking up the offer of vaccination when it comes, please think of how some fit and active people can be affected by Covid.

Blimey. Just hope he takes it easy. Sounds like he is going above and beyond as boss at the moment and he needs to take time off from it. He's got a whole backroom staff to take care of things.
Concentrate on yourself Steve and see you next season 👍

Very worrying development, hopefully hospital oxygen treatments and access to specialist services will see him on the road to recovery very soon
Puts Saturdays slightly duff performance into perspective

Really sad to hear this. I echo many of the sentiments above - it's time for him to take some proper rest, whether he likes it or not.

Oh no.
If anyone needed to understand the complete randomness of Covid 19, look no further than SC.

Really feel for him and of course hope he's well again soon.
I know everyone means well and no criticism is intended, but I don't think we're in a position to say he's been overdoing it. Can't we just leave it to him, his family and his medical support?

Can't we just leave it to him, his family and his medical support? Yup. This disease peaks and troughs devastatingly quickly, he could have been feeling absolutely fine recently for all we know. And it could be good to have something to distract him. This is really not a good sign though, very concerning news. Really hope he's better soon.

Puts into perspective, if it was even needed, the ridiculous criticism aimed his way for the selection and substitutes on Saturday.
Get well soon Steve, year from hell for him so far.

Yes , wishing Steve all the best and hope he recovers well. No need to rush back ,AW is doing a cracking job and we all want you both back with us fit and well for the start of next season . So , in the meantime concentrate on your own health Steve , you know it makes sense 👍

Gutted for him, I was half expecting him to make an appearance at Bristol Rovers on Saturday with it being local to him but now know why he wasn’t there. Think he really needs to let Aaron and Dave do all the work for him now and he really needs to focus on getting better and nothing else, I certainly don’t expect him to return before the end of the season now.

Oh how awful for him and his family. I actually don’t give a damn about relegation or anything now. This could be extremely serious for him and his health.

It's not the news we wanted to hear. He's made a huge difference to STFC in the short time he's been with us. The best the team can do is to win as many games as possible for him and make sure we're in this league next season. Get well soon, Steve.

Yes, I think you are right there, overseeing a relegation battle on the internet and fearing he might come back to manage a club trying to get back up again to league 1 next season wouldn't do his health any good at all. Even notorious, the Wrexham guy, might have the heart to not wish that upon him.

Get well soon SC. Thought he was on the mend, but this is a big setback. He’s being well looked after so hopefully he can get back to full health soon.

Poor Steve.
I really admire his dedication, commitment and enthusiasm, but you do have to question if his passion has got the better of him here and now really is the time to switch the phone off, take some time to get better, leave things in Wilbraham's capable hands to get us over the line to safety, and then be back fighting fit for next season.
Stay safe Steve.

I have to admit I sensed something was wrong on Saturday.
Agree with others on here. He needs to leave Aaron and Dave to get on with things and put his phone away.
Get well soon Steve.

Can't we just leave it to him, his family and his medical support? No I don’t think we can. All employers have a duty of care to their employees and that would include when it’s safe to come back to work after an serious illness. I worked for a major company and would have needed a doctor to say I was fit to go back. A back to work interview, support and gradual return. I’d agree we don’t know if he’s overdoing it but I don’t think ‘the patient’ or his family are in a position to decide. Work a holics would always come back too early.... as some would delay and play the system. Return to work when your doctor says your fit to work. Just hope he gets better soon
