Interesting to see that despite hand on his cock being found guilty of breaking the law yesterday the daily mail leads with Harry and Megan.
Trying to bury bad news maybe? or perhaps they’re a bunch of racist bigoted scum bags with an axe to grind?
Who knows🤔

Harry's perspective on the junk media is likely to be based on them playing a large part in his mums death...If I was him, I'd want complete privacy from those same papers who have spent years trying to shove cameras / listen to voice messages / doorstep his and Meghan's most private moments. But if you don't play the media game then they will be relentless in their revenge. In this case, it will be portraying weak Harry being pushed around by evil Meghan. Wanting to distance yourself from the ghoulish paparazzi end of the media is completely different to needing media coverage to promote his or Meghan's next ventures / future career plans. The Brexit analogy, because there is always one, is of course Meghan being the EU and Harry being the UK...

Blissfully uncaring here. All I will say is that he is where he is because of an accident of birth. She is where she is because of her own endeavers. Harry is supposed to have said what granny wants, granny gets, his mum could manipulate too. Meghan seems to want to use her position for philanthropic purposes, let's just see where this goes.

My brother was at Sandhurst military academy with William. He's an absolute cock womble.
Because my brother lost his legs in a taliban attack in Afghanistan and then competed in the invictus games and the paralympics, and because Harry started the invictus games, he also knows Harry well. He, on the other hand, is most definitely not a cock womble, but in fact is much more down to earth, grounded and normal guy. Good on him I say, and going back to the first post, major Hewitt must be quite proud.

Henpecked harry, that's all I can say really😉😉 And of course you know that through your intimate knowledge of their relationship?
Or perhaps the Mail/Express told you to think that?
Or perhaps you haven't got a bloody clue what you're talking about?
My money is option 2 or 3.
There is another option: you don't care one way or the other.

The only royal family story I really care about is the one where it all comes to a belated end. That said, the pointless vindictiveness of the anti-Meghan & Harry establishment stooges is childish and grotesque.
Britain at its worst.

I am a monarchist, but neither a royalist nor a republican, and don't care one bit about perceived privilege... That such a thread should garner such interest astonishes me, but there we are....

I also think removing his honorific military titles is particularly vindictive from the 'firm'.

I suppose it depends whether he has told them that he won’t be around to fulfil any duties connected with the titles or not ? If he has said he won’t, then what else can they do?

That's a fair point, a Colonel-in-Chief is the direct link between the regiment and Royal Family. However, if anyone in the Royal Family has earned those titles it's Harry (and Andrew for that matter). I think an honorary title is just that, title. So, let him keep them in some form.

So it should be, Phil could shufflle off at any time at his age. Ground control has already lost Captain Tom, I'm no great royalist, but best wishes to the grand old duke for a speedy recovery.
On the subject of Captain Tom, the day before he died, his daughter Hannah and grandchildren Benjie and Georgia were able to be by his side - so Covid rules were not lifted just because Phil's a royal.

Our hospitals have been allowing visitors, under strict rules, for months now for end of life, dementia and learning disability patients. Maybe Phillip is EOL? We don’t know do we? So feels a little harsh to be judgemental.

My dad being rushed into hospital isn’t the kind of thing I’d joke about so went right over my head I’m afraid.

At 99 it's very likely he's EOL, hence the visit.

This interview being broadcast next week could be explosive.
By all accounts a few people were very upset with that 'service is universal' comment. I'm not sure if they intended it to come across the way it did but it hasn't gone down well.
This could lead to permanent estrangement between William and Harry which would be sad.

Not the kind of thing I’d be flippant about if I’m honest. If your dad was EOL and visitors weren’t allowed I’d certainly encourage you to complain and seek answers to why not!👍

I think that is true.
