For what it's worth I think it will be 2 - 2, or 3 - 1 to India.

One of the great "what ifs" in cricket history. Still time for him to shine in the up coming T20 series

The game is crying out for a hero now to take the game to India, put on a decent score, pitch isn't bad at all now. With the capt. and Stokesy gone you fear the worst but hope Pope or Lawrence could get a 50 or ton.
I think if we are skittled out for less than 200 it could be over quickly again.

Will we actually make it over 200?
I've just seen that this is now England's longest run in their Test history without a stand of 50 which tells its own story

Cant see Anderson or Leach sticking around long enough to see us over the 200 mark....they'd best get the arms warmed up for holding it not trying to smash it.
Test looks ominous already now.....

205 all out on a decent pitch doesn't exactly cut the mustard.

1 for 0 ....
India need six to avoid the follow-on.

They've gone into this game with Anderson and a barely fit Stokes as our only seam bowlers.

Close on day one. England 205 India 24 for 1 India again in total control. They can't expect too many overs from Anderson and Stokes. Bess hasn't started at all well. The prospect of a very large Indian total looms large.

The crowd seems much smaller than the first game.
---
Whoops it's only 110,000 - still pretty big though

To think that England was the home of cricket and yet our stadium capacities are way down the world list. Not that I'm advocating we build a big concrete bowl mind, give me the character and history of Lords anyday.

Same here , give me New Road Worcester any day, but there is no denying the magnificence of that setup.

Excellent performance by England up to the tea break. Big evening session to come.
Doesn't start well, very loose opening over from Dom Bess.

Shame, every over he bowls you hope for the best but expect the worst. The over he conceeded 10 Root was conceeding 1 either side of it. India went from 50 behind to 40
