Ouch that must have hurt. Eight minutes of added time to settle it but after the own goal always felt we could snatch it. Any consolation you are the first league club to score a goal at our ground this season and came within a whisker of taking a point back but know it'll be small comfort to some. A scr@ppy game that only came to life in the last quarter but relieved obviously to have won it. We've punched above our weight at times this season and been on the wrong end of scores and decisions we didn't deserve but as other have said on our forum luck can even itself out over a season. at last an honest opinion , I was beginning to think we were absolute rubbish today and got exactly what we deserved , and then this guy reminded me of the exact game I watched earlier Can you point out a dishonest opinion and/or any posts from Shrewsbury fan that have said we were rubbish in the game?

the goaals sounded bad on the radio they looked worse on sky sports highlights, first goal unmarked run with a player having a simple tap in between the left back and a center back, worse hte kepper error just punching the ball straight at an advancing ipswich forward who must have thought christmas had come early.

Having watched the game yesterday on ifollow I thought we played well. My only criticism was that I thought the energy levels faded mid-way through the second half and that the substitutions were therefore a little too late. We have a good squad of players - let’s use them all (5 subs?) and keep the intensity levels up throughout the game. I genuinely believe this team will finish mid-table.

Very arrogant demeanour in that post match interview. Not a good sign snapping at reporters - especially the mild-mannered Stu Dunn. Stuart Dunn is a fair comentator and has followed town for years, been rude to reporters is not a very god tactic. When was he rude during the interview?

We did play well enough for large parts of the game but football games are decided on one or two critical moments and at theses times we are shooting ourselves in the foot time and again. The players do not seem to believe in themselves and ultimately that comes down to their own motivation and a team mentality for which the manager sets the tone. Credit to Ricketts for trying to be more attacking this season but a couple of our key defenders have gone backwards this season and are making unforced errors and I am not sure he is going to be able to turn things around any time soon.

Don't think it helps that you have managers asked to come out and speak after games does it. Its awkward isn't it, listening to that.
Mind you, it doesn't help that he's being asked the same questions week after week. But that's gonna happen when we keep losing goals and keep losing points.

When was he rude during the interview? i appereciate he is probably fed up of the some of the questions but that is part of his job, i think highly of stuart Dunn who is a town fan and he is polite and fair i thought Ricketts cut across his questions, he was also sharp and snappy to me that is rude.he is also deluded if he thinks we deserverd three penalties.

Indeed, although this is the edited version the club put out. The radio version was longer and rather tenser

These interviews can't be nice for all involved. As an interviewer you must be treading a fine line.

Perhaps. I didn’t think it was personal just a bit sharp and direct. I personally don’t think he was rude as such. He probably shouldn’t have interrupted Stuart Dunn as you say.
