shrewsbury have never won at ipswich, and only once about 70 years ago did we avoid defeat, in fact the clubs have met 19 times and town have only ever beaten them once, and i know cos i was there ;-) my prediction for saturday so Ipswich narrowly win and grown men are throwing toys out of the pram Who’d have thought that ? Well I did 😜 Oh that makes what that picture was supposed to represent. I thought it was a picture of a man who had just woken up in some Victorian nightmare scenario in which he had to fight off a horde of possessed toy dolls, the last of which had just dislocated his shoulder.

Well I did 😜 It's ridiculous, isn't it! I mean, we've won 1 in 12 league games, have 8 points, 3rd from bottom, 4 points from safety, and yet all people do is moan when we lose. Ps We should have had 3 penalties today.

Feel sorry for Sam . Things aren’t getting any better and he’s suffering. If he were a horse you’d have to put him down , but of course with his background he’d know that . Call the Vet , it’s time to put him out of his misery .

3 wins in 26 from last season and this season in the league. Must be one of our worst runs in the history of the club. Well the Conference relegation was 0 wins, 4 draws, 11 defeats from the last 15. Which is worse, its debatable but both are pretty grim

Very arrogant demeanour in that post match interview. Not a good sign snapping at reporters - especially the mild-mannered Stu Dunn. Stuart Dunn is a fair comentator and has followed town for years, been rude to reporters is not a very god tactic.

Definitely not a good idea to have a pop at Stuart Dunn, a man whose standing amongst the town faithful is infinitely higher than Ricketts.

so, we've still never won at ipswich, 134 years now, and just seconds away from the best result there ever, can we still cry like kids though all the same ;-)

3 wins out of 26, that's a win rate of 11.5%.
How on earth do you defend that sort of return, especially when this season it's fallen even further to 8%?
If it wasn't for COVID Ricketts would have gone by now.

We lost, again, no wonder supporters are angry/frustrated/annoyed...you can count me amongst them.

Samuel being within seconds of crafting an all-time legend of an away draw, the buzz won’t wear off until Monday! “;-)”

In Pilch’s logic we should’ve forfeited the game in advance as apparently it’s unreasonable to expect anything other than a defeat, never mind being in the lead for over an hour. We should’ve taken the loss and put the savings on travel expenses towards Ricketts’ pay off.

I want us to beat Oxford City but I don't want an FA cup win to be an excuse to continue with SR in charge

I was starting to feel a bit sorry for him until he did "another" one of his post match nonsense talks. I mean the first penalty is typical of a player waiting for the challenge and with a home crowd would probably not be given and what's he on about with the other two ? We're so toothless it's all he constantly mentions in his post match interviews. Come on Ricketts grow up a bit it's embarrassing for us to listen to. The irony is the referee is spot on and I understand his explanation perfectly well !! I really don't buy into this crap that the referee has to explain himself everytime a player (who constantly cheats) goes down. Explain to us Ricketts how the only game we have won this season was a last minute set piece and we should have been three down by then. We'll lose Tuesday night and then I'd let Edwards and Whalley run things until we get someone in. My choice would be Cowley now Clough has gone.

Ouch that must have hurt. Eight minutes of added time to settle it but after the own goal always felt we could snatch it.
Any consolation you are the first league club to score a goal at our ground this season and came within a whisker of taking a point back but know it'll be small comfort to some. A scrappy game that only came to life in the last quarter but relieved obviously to have won it. We've punched above our weight at times this season and been on the wrong end of scores and decisions we didn't deserve but as other have said on our forum luck can even itself out over a season.

We are getting used to it now. Letting in a goal deep into injury time and defensive mistakes are becoming a regular feature of our games. Happens most games.
