No contact for the 2nd pen incident....oh how easy for a goal it would of been had Pugh stayed on his feet

Did we just get away with one there? That looked a clear push.

Well just the one occasion really when they got behind us on the right but great defending from our lads saw that one out. Other than that its been stuff that you would hope we could cope with. Looking good here. Hopefully we will have learnt our lesson from last week and we won't start dropping back come the second half.
Come on Town!!

Did we just get away with one there? That looked a clear push. The Ipswich player made the most of a very light touch, but he did have two hands on his shoulders but think that a penalty would have been harsh.

Decent enough from town, Ipswich have offered nothing. Big hole in towns midfield, allowing Ipswich time on the ball. Couple of times we’ve switched off at the back, - standard.. but not been punished, we slipped once and they had a shot then we were ball watching expecting it to go for a goal kick and yer man kept it in , then the following cross we pushed in the box and could of had no complaints if they’d got a pen. Not a foul on Pugh, if he’d stayed on his feet he’d of had an easy shot on goal. Subs will play a massive part in this second half as norburrn (booked) and Edwards tire as they’re pretty isolated in the middle

town make a biright start then we get a bit of a soft penalty which norburn scores the perfect start, town creat a few chances as Ipswich seeem a bit ponderous. an injury blow for Ipswich as Nolan goes off, Ipswich come close with a vital landell block millar did some good tracking back to nulify the follow up. just a pity town did not capatalize on the early goal when Ipswich looked a bit wobbly.with recent form im just dreading our defence will stufff it up. you would expect Ipswich to go up the gears in the second half, lets hope we dont revert to sitting deep. but well done town 1-0 .

First team to score at Ipswich this season. Not sure if the first half was a case of us being solid and resilient or Ipswich being really poor. Probably a combination of both. We've moved the ball around quite well and defended much much much better so far, Pierre in particular has been very strong.

Comedy time at the back again To be fair, I saw that as a really good stop from Burgoyne who did well to get out and block it, the ricochet afterwards was just unlucky / lucky that it went wide.

Doing just enough to deserve the lead. Certainly seem to be fighting for the manager which on reflection is a tick in the keep him column.
Push on and get the 3 points will certainly be welcome but IMO will just delay the decision.
Positive day so far so COYB

Don't wish to tempt fate but they've been pretty ordinary the home side, was expecting better than this.

We knew that was coming.
Easy peasy to clear that, no real pressure, just a simple hoof and it's cleared.

That is absolutely pathetic from Ebanks Landell and sums up everything wrong with this season so far.

Woeful at the back this season. Starting to make me wonder if Sam’s at fault or is it individual mistakes from players at the back costing us.
