As long as they stay within whatever financial regulation that the EFL have imposed on them then that's fine.
Don't forget that they will remain under some sort of restraint as they are planning to pay their creditors at,maybe,25p in the pound. Also hope that the EFL keep a very close eye on them

You would hope and think so,but looking at these signings suggests that straight away they are doing exactly what they want. Its hard to imagine that these two are prepared to take a massive pay cut to join the Rams, unless they have somehow bought into the " Derby County project" What about the businesses that are going to have to accept a percentage in the pound of what they are owed? No doubt some will close down because of the debt others will have to make staff redundant and struggle on. It's totally wrong but the Lilly livered EFL wont do anything about it

Looks they’re gambling big bucks on immediate promotion. No doubt once it inevitably goes tits up again they’ll be back to the doe-eyed appeals to the “football family”.

Agree definitely s**t or bust. It’s more about the strategy being a gamble in signing experienced journeymen on big wages which might get you out of the league, but if it doesn’t then it becomes a problem as they’ll be difficult to shift if still under contract and won’t have much resale value. It’s easy to forget how strong this league actually is,L with loads of ex premier league clubs I can see the bigger teams like Ipswich, Bolton, Portsmouth having better seasons and challenging for promotion maybe Charlton too. I think Derby will do it though.
