Worth a few million dollars between them 😅 but I wonder if they actually know where Wrexham is!

I have no axe to grind here at all but I hope they will have the club’s interests at heart and it’s not just a new play thing.

Well well well.... What about that then? But, it’s always been Tinseltown! There is an anagram of tinsel town that Wrexham take very seriously - let's not win. And Wrexham is more Benny Hill than Beverley Hills.

Well well well.... What about that then? But, it’s always been Tinseltown! Fair play...the amount of time you spend on this forum spouting about past Wrexham glory - the only way you’re going to get back to those days is by the use of a mad doctor, a flux-capacitor and a De Loren. ”Marty!”

Dead In The Water Pool....what have Alanis Morissette, Scarlett Johansson and Wrexham FC got in common? They’ve all been humped by Ryan Reynolds.

Sir, I have forwarded your bill onto a conglomeration of Hollywood A-Listers. The legal representatives of Mssrs Hanks, Pacino, Pitt and Clooney will be in touch...once they’ve finalised their deal to takeover AFC Chester United FC. The Wrexham-Chester derby will be re-named the “Hollywood Bowl”, broadcast live on ESPN and will feature a half-time performance by Tony Orlando and Dawn supported by a spectacular fireworks display.

I hope it works out, but......
Chester - Smith/Vaughn (Delete as necessary).
Telford - Shaw
Darlington - Reynolds
Rushden & Diamonds - Griggs
I'm not being funny, but £2million is **** all.

Shrewsbury - Wycherley Just proves how lucky we are....and a £2m investment? Our last £2m investment was from Ipswich for Nsiala & Nolan - we make our own fortune, we don’t rely on hand-outs and charity. Floreat Salopia

The Alarmist Dick Buying The Cow Foolproof Waiting... Chaos Theory Definitely, Maybe The Proposal Buried Self/Less Criminal Not Good Deed
...and is currently filming a movie called Red Notice.
I’ll just leave this here...

To be totally honest never heard of either of them. Perhaps after their dabble in football, will be able to say the same about Wrexham in the future.

Bonkers to even think about, I would take the investment, the club then survives and may get promoted by default depending on how many drop out and go bust.

They have probably teamed up with Netflix or Amazon to do a documentary of the takeover bid and fund it from the proceeds. Working title: "Wrexham 'Til I Dai."

Come on for town fans... this is going to be hilarious..
Just glad a community owned club the pride of Wales (so we were constantly told) are selling to local lads who just want to see the best for the club they love - LOL
What could go wrong.

This isn't a dig at Wrexham (although I never miss an opportunity to do that!), but it never ceases to amaze me at the fickleness of football fans. The cycle has happened a few times
Businessman with no links to the club steps in and promises big money/investment Fans celebrate at the investment The investment leads to short term success Football club then runs into trouble financially Fans berate the owners, moan at the authorities for letting it happen A trust steps in Fans celebrate and tell the rest of the footballing world how they are run properly now Stability and success comes, more 'we are the model to follow' from the fans Football club either becomes stale or worse because lack of investment Fans question the trust Businessman with no links to the club steps in and promises big money/investment Fans celebrate at the investment
And so on.....
Portsmouth did it, Swansea did it, Telford nearly did it (they just couldnt find anyone daft enough to invest for a second time), I'm sure there are other examples but the point is, fans love the idea of being fan owned, until they hit a rocky spell and then someone comes along and promises a bucketload of cash

The Glyndwr University Hollywood Bowl Racecourse Stadium has a nice catchy ring to it.

I think when their Financial Adviser said "why don't you invest in Wrexham" they mis-heard him,
and thought he had said West Ham !!!
