Really pleased to read how things seem to be going well for him in his remodelled life. I hadn't known he was away from family while at Accrington. It's easy to forget how hard it can be for a young man (or woman) to be away from loved ones and in a pressurised environment. He obviously still has plenty to struggle with but it looks like he's got great support around him. Good luck Billy. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54189703

I've followed Billy Kee's career. Very talented player. So pleased he's getting some support, as I am with anyone who is suffering mental issues. I've also been watching Cowdenbeath player, Davie Cox. He too has come forward to announce his own mental health problems.
I'm afraid, as I've said before, just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there. At least now there seems to be a general acceptance that we have an issue with mental health. I used to work in a stressful job where people sometimes suffered badly from anxiety. There were those who sneeringly suggested that "their bottle had gone".
Thank heavens we seem to have moved on from that.

You found the link ... and this was a guy I believe we tried to sign on a couple of occasions.....and it is a reminder to us all when we chant at players we have no idea how they react.
